It was the year 2017 when i started to use them in my show. I bought the 200hd type, i will never forget all the love that people gave me back after saw my show with those wonderful items. I use them sometimes, and the battery still work without problems.

Hi there! I am about to make a video of my friend, he bought pixel poi 160HD. So can i ask how did you make the trail effect, is it the camera or from the program you edit it ? My camera is Canon 600D. If you can help me that will be great if not no problem.. Amazing video tho, keep it up !

Is this partly the effects of the camera leaving the light trail? I can't imagine being able to capture this with the naked eye.

Totally agree. It's a cool video but I'd like to see what they look like unedited and at real speed. Granted most people will be on K when you use these and the tracers will help with the effect, but still.....

You say 160hd but they don’t sell a 160hd they only sell 200hd is that just an older model or what?
Austin Hopkins yes, 160 HD is older model, current analog is 200 HD.
Pleace, maybe you can help me: I tried to film it with the camera SJ400 and the IPhone and with both of them it's look like a big bright stick. A google logo for example you can see but a Coca Cola red, the white and a BMW looks the same. Bright. I can't see the amazing shapes as the eyes can see. By the way, I am not talking about long exposure to get smearing...
Can you give me some tips how to get it on video?!

Gal Baran Main advice is to close aperture of camera until white turns to real colors and you see details of picture. Also reducing ISO value will help.
And there is simple trick to make video with iPhone - we used dark sunglasses in front of camera - colors of poi became visible.

Actualy at spinning speed 2 circles per second human eye can see from 1/4-1/2 of circle depending on the darkness. In the deep darkness you can see longer trails than in twilight.
That's it! I've come up with a new recipe!

I paid mine ignis 200hd €2100/2200,00 in 2017 for use them as a professional performer, definetly worth it. Batterys still working in 2023
