You need to do more analysis on what the wine (yayin and shekhar) was in the 1st century and how it was handled. It was almost exclusively and heavily DILUTED-3 parts to 1 or as high as 10 parts to 1. It was BOILED and only the “barbaric” would drink unmixed wine. Drink if you chose to, but do NOT use a modern 21st century understanding of “wine” in scripture to validate or justify imbibing. Modern alcohol is NOT the same. And because of my exegesis and research, I’m convinced modern alcoholic drinks are NOT for the Christian. Grace, peace, and wisdom.
