They remained there until the war was over then they moved on to USA, Canada and UK.
They had a reunion in Jamaica about 10 years ago. They were so grateful to Jamaica.
The owner is passionate about her food and it shows. She presented every dish very well. I am not vegetarian but I would eat all of that. I will find that restaurant on my next visit. And the young lady is right about processed foods being way cheaper than organic

I am not Jamaican, but have travelled the world, including Jamaica. By far, Jamaica have the best cuisine in the world, hands down. This may be mainly because Jamaica grow some of the most diverse herbs and spices, and utilise them in their cooking. Nothing can compare to Jamaican food. Absolutely nothing and nowhere else in the world. You can taste Jamaican food by looking at it🙃

Mavis Bank, Gordon Town and New Castle are excellent places to visit and higher elevations. Jacks Hill has developed so much, it used to be considered “bush”, but now it’s unaffordable. Get someone decent to take you to drink the coffees and sour orange juice up innah dih ills, if you haven’t already-I couldn’t watch the entire video at the moment. I’ve been to Israel / Palestine many times-I love it like it’s my first home. There’s an extremely, extremely interesting history of Jews in Jamaica…Shalom and le’hitra’ot!

Living food and juices is on my list of must do experiences when I visit Jamaica next. The passion the presentation and the flavor combinations is world class. My only suggestion is that between courses maybe a palette cleanser so the flavors from each creation can be appreciated independently.

What I have learned about consuming nuts and fruits is that it's better to consume them in their natural state instead of juicing and concentrating them into a drink, bc it's too much of a good thing without consuming the whole fruit or nut itself. Nobody should consume a concentrated amount of either, or of anything for that matter! Can you imagine if carnivores juiced their meats into a shake and consumed 5 to 10 times the amount just to get a whole cup of juice? Our bodies weren't designed to digest and absorb that much of any one thing at once 😮
