Thanks for posting this video. As a musician, it's great for me to be able to see what the dances we play might have been like when they were first written.

It’s one thing to see a piece marked Bouree and another thing to actually see it performed. I’m a professional musician and I also teach. Having my students see a video like this is helpful when we’re studying Baroque music and especially the Bach Suites for Solo Cello (especially Suites 3 and 4 which have bourees. Many thanks for this video.🎵

Interessantissimo vedere una danza eseguita come molto probabilmente si faceva all'epoca, ricostruita su basi fisiologiche serie.

I always though that a Boure was supooused to be faster than this. Is this the correct historic tempo for this particular dance?? Is there a historical reffererence regarding that matter? This is not criticism but a sincere desire to learn well. Thanks in advance.

This the type of art ( barokko music) we need to resurrect from the grave to let our children to be highly intellectual in censoring this world and eliminate all kind of evil madness!👹

Why do they perform the fleurets with a relevé? It´s not specified in the manuscript.

Bourrée is a French dance and as such, it was performed at balls in the emerging French style with feet turned-out en dehors and pas de bourrées on half-point, as is indicated in François de Lauze´s Apologie de la danse (1623)...
