And kinda out of topic but personally I liked GT no matter what most people say and Super Saiyan 4 has always been my favourite transformation but since Toriyama sensei didn't like it because he preferred more simple transformations it was impossible for it to become cannon but Toyotaro has always expressed his love for the transformation so unless he decides to respect Akira Toriyama's "dislike" for the transformation it's possible that in the future Toyotaro makes Super Saiyan 4 cannon. And even If it's not cannon chronologically speaking technically Dragon ball GT happens after Dragon ball Super so it's possible that in the future they make like a cannon "remake" of Dragon ball GT with a better thought lore and canonize some of the characters (for example Omega Shenron or Baby although I think it's highly unlikely for them to canonize Super 17), attacks (for example the dragon fist which I always loved as well) and transformations

Plus like I said although now after the sad news that Akira Toriyama's passed away it's possible for the transformation and some characters or even attacks to become cannon their not cannon yet so obviously the official power of the transformation, characters and attacks would have to be adapted to match with the current scale of power.
