For overall utility I would say Strider Vajra- gives you great conversions off of all throws, good scaling, launch to RT glitch available for standard combos. For max damage it is probably Doom Missiles- definitely max damage when DHCing into swords, gives you double RT combos without RT glitch, also able to tag after air throws. For good assist and tag damage it would be Strange Bolts- best meterless hardtag damage from virtually every hit, great assist for Vergil, has good combo extensions even without tagging. Then Zero DP or Hadangeki assist for overall tag damage- gives you fat damage for just one bar spent off of basically all hits, but the assists themselves are somewhat lackluster especially unpowered up.
@datHazy I meant vergil being on point but you provided more any way. Appreciate it. Also big fan of your mag doom vergil stuff in on/offline toruneys. Hope to see more of you competitively with zero or that team.

Unfortunately I am fully on the Zero train, Mag Doom Vergil has a decent amount of struggle moments at a higher level. Will def play my Zero Mag Vergil team wherever I can tho!
I actually have the equipment to do it proper and have done it before, but it's a lot of work to set up lol. I'll try set it up, maybe for my solo midscreen lightning loop setup I just found 🤔
