Wide open V belts, No guarding on the blades, No emergency kill switch, and operators blindly reaching over the machine to retrieve the wire on the far side... This thing is a motorized OSHA Violation.
no Who gives a crap? OSHA can suck it. Private jobs are private contracts. No one is forced to work under such "conditions." If people don't like it, they can quit. Stop wasting tax money on such nonsense. OSHA should only apply to public-sector jobs. Ideally, all they should really do is set standards, and private corporations could CHOOSE to implement those standards, or not.
omg, look at all yer obnoxious muricans. its just a cheap strip machine. aint nobody have time for your dumb complains. no shit will pass the us safety regulations n shit. if you are stupid enough to hurt yourself, then dont operate a dangerous machine dawg. even paternoster lift is not allowed in US. srsly? i bet you will get shredded by it even it has a shit load of safety mechanism. emergency switch lol. so you need a switch and another switch for emergency? do you have a emergency switch on your lamp switch? do you have a safety brake for your hand brake on your car? that switch on this machine is a goddamn switch. you so retared
It even has a reverse selector written in Chinese. This is for that inevitable moment when the open V-belts snag your sleeve and pulls your arm into the works stripping the flesh from the bone. :-)
I replaced a drum switch on a small plate roll with a double foot pedal and starter.both hands free and machine doesn't run unless you press one of the pedals.a brake motor would be added safety too.
higher voltage also tends to be more efficient, due to lower current needs and in turn cutting heat loss. X watts @ 347v is more efficient than X watts @ 120v
adding insult to injury?? we all know the new legislation on burning copper wire? what in the actual fuck just happened. I feel like I just got sucked into the computer screen for a 4 minute terrible acid trip.
380 Volt 3 Phase 50 Hertz is used mostly through out all Europe (typical domestic mains output 220 Volt 50 Hertz) mostly for industrial applications, as well as domestic. I believe 460 Volt 3 Phase 60 Hertz is the equivalent in the United States (typical domestic mains output 110 Volt 60 Hertz), but don't quote me on that.
you can have plugs put in your house shop or whatever at just about any voltage you require power lines carry tens of thousands of volts that just get reduced before entering you house or business anyone thats every stripped wire would love to have something like this i worked for a recycling plant for a while and we had a similar setup just on a much larger scale and was hydraulic so extreme voltage motors werent needed
380V the most common three phase power outlet in Europe. (common for 3 phase, that is somewhat industrial use, otherwise 220V single phase the standard for home use)
the copper wires are coated in special varnish, then you burn the rubber of the wires, varnish burns too and you lose about 20-30% wight of copper, if the wires are very thin you can burn almost all copper in it.
the difference is, that when there i an emergency and you turn that toggle switch, you might turn it too far and the machine doesnt stop, it will just move the other way. An emergency stop is easier to see and in an emergency easier and faster to activate.
quite a simple stripping device it seems useful yet could be made into a personal smaller device that could be cost effective and easily profitable but with copper theft in america it makes it hard for a machine like this to be sold to the public
I like your video! This machine is probably very expensive. Great if you own a scrap yard, no so good for the average collector because of the expense.
Where does that really big gauge will come from? The one where the wire is braided with like 9-12 giant filaments and is like an inch In diameter? What do they use such big copper "cables" for...that's basically what it is from it's size...a friggin Insulated
in video 2:54 we can see a polyethylene lagging with an aluminum screen. Aluminum is about 0.3-1 mm thick. Can you separate this cover from the aluminum screen? It's about some efficient process, not fun. Speed at least 5-10 m / min. the amount of 50 tons per month at 2-3 stations. Do you have an idea for that?
wtf a few minutes ago I was seeing dogs get rescue from out of frozen rivers and that was super nice but now I know about super strip and 380 volts only I kind of want one tho....
Man....the JML wire stripper............... I can also use it to peel turnips. And only $3,000 a real bargain, just need 50 tons of old wiring to practice on. Hang on I still have an old mangle an singer sewing machine base and an antique animal feed root cutter I'll make my own.
I have 327 feet of 2 gauge wire. Do I need to cut it into 2 foot pieces like the video? Will it reverse if it gets half way through? What if I have a nest of wire to strip?
Ahh I see. It's made for European power. To use it here in the states you have to A: have a phase converter or B: use capacitor's in series. I know from working on a Coats tire machine that took that kind of power. Japan has an odd power scale too.
Daniel Peters 380 v is three-phase 220V, which was widely used in Europe, the UK used 240v. The EU now uses 400 v/230v (nominal) - as indeed does South Africa. China, however, remains on 220v. There's a discussion on powering 380/400v equipment in the US at the following website: ecmweb.com/content/what-s-most-cost-effective-way-obtain-380v
And for a single payment of €2569.99 , your supperstriper will be on your way , plus shipping and handling It will pay for itself in about 23 years 12 months !
+KYLE REES you see the part of this machine where the stripped wire comes out (the blank roller) ? Thats how his machine looks on both sides, no safety mesh whatsoever.
I didn't need or want this machine but they sealed the deal when they said they would throw in a free fan belt!
And a free "aw shit" when the free fan belt smashes your finger.
"adding to the nature of your copper,"
I'll remember that quote next time I wish to add to the nature of my copper.
Wide open V belts, No guarding on the blades, No emergency kill switch, and operators blindly reaching over the machine to retrieve the wire on the far side... This thing is a motorized OSHA Violation.
Hence the Chinese writing on the switch.
You forgot the incomprehensible chinese writing on the switch.
The people working the machine can prob see the cable coming out over the top of the machine

you so retared

Yes, but think how shiny bright that bone will look.
+zbudda Too funny!
+zbudda That was fungy
+Greg Owsley
Only 380 volts! lol
I replaced a drum switch on a small plate roll with a double foot pedal and starter.both hands free and machine doesn't run unless you press one of the pedals.a brake motor would be added safety too.

What was the name of this machine again? I forgot after hearing it 935 times.
lol.... it was called soup
warrior7772 380v Human Skinner
...the "putyourdickinit 3000"?
adding insult to injury?? we all know the new legislation on burning copper wire? what in the actual fuck just happened. I feel like I just got sucked into the computer screen for a 4 minute terrible acid trip.

I can't wait to order my new SUPA STRUP
LOL!!!
Superbe vidéo, moi aussi je dénude du cuivre, à la méthode française.
Je m'abonne et vous mets un like.

Every Health and Safety Officer's worst nightmare.
"and strip awey" turns off computer
This makes me want to go into shiny bright wire stripping industry for maximum profits already!
380V the most common three phase power outlet in Europe. (common for 3 phase, that is somewhat industrial use, otherwise 220V single phase the standard for home use)
Marvellous invention, just a little fine tuning and its good to go
anyone notice the badass 90 degree turn in the drive belt
It slices!!
It dices!!
It’ll even juice this orange!!
the copper wires are coated in special varnish, then you burn the rubber of the wires, varnish burns too and you lose about 20-30% wight of copper, if the wires are very thin you can burn almost all copper in it.
"380 volts only" very odd number
liquidalloy yea, guess i'm out
220/380 old european system, we europeans its jacked up to 230/400 to meet the brittish.
the difference is, that when there i an emergency and you turn that toggle switch, you might turn it too far and the machine doesnt stop, it will just move the other way. An emergency stop is easier to see and in an emergency easier and faster to activate.

That's awesome. I'm going to start recycling my waste plastic. Shit wait a minute I don't have any.
1:30
The super stripper is easy to use it separates the PVC Dave from the copper wire by stripping the PVC from the copper wire
That would probably be a lot easier than changing out the whole motor, but I didn't think of it at the time D:
American copper thieves are drooling at the mouth over this video
Breaking good where else can you drool from? Your bum?
I think it's safe to say I've found every video involving strippers on UA-cam now..
I want the machine, but where do i get the wire
ARMOR PIERCER People just leave it out for you. Look in the airconditioner units on the sides of houses.
+Koshunae my neighbor yelled at me
+ARMOR PIERCER Start a demolition company. Your dad will give you a small loan of $1,000,000 to get started.
Koshunae lollll
lol make sure you drill a hole in the copper pipe and in hale the gas too
I like your video! This machine is probably very expensive. Great if you own a scrap yard, no so good for the average collector because of the expense.
so thats where the power lines went
damnit this is not the dancing girl with a cape that i was looking for
only available in vault 380?? *shakes fists in air* vaultechhhhhhhh!!!!!
its a shitty day to be alive in vault 347
At first, I thought this title said, "Shredding a stripper"
nice music
Copper thiefs favorite ;)
Or an electrician
Just boil the cable in old engine oil in a big vat removes the plastic you can center fuse the oil if you want to reclaim the plastic
Saves all the wasted manpower and time wasted on feeding that all day
When I searched youtube for 'strippers' this is not what i expected
Seems like they should've added a clutch mechanism for when the cable gets stuck. That electric motor would've been grateful.
LazlowFromSpace the belt should just spin if the tension is right but I agree
Where does that really big gauge will come from? The one where the wire is braided with like 9-12 giant filaments and is like an inch In diameter? What do they use such big copper "cables" for...that's basically what it is from it's size...a friggin Insulated

What's the music called?
And here I have been paying children to strip off the toxic jackets off all of the ground wires I steal off power poles.
wtf a few minutes ago I was seeing dogs get rescue from out of frozen rivers and that was super nice but now I know about super strip and 380 volts only
I kind of want one tho....

Could you add a video description when you get a chance?
we in holland use the emergency stop as an regular off button
Wish people would understand that voltage is not wattage. You can use high voltage and still have low consumption.
That shit looks scary, if you accidentally get your hand in it
I wonder why they didn't call it the Super Stripper instead. It sounds better.
I came here for the music
this machine should be sold to authorized persons only and after that police should make a visit to him!
can this machine be use for aluminium cables and armoured cables.
what is the price of this machine?
I have 327 feet of 2 gauge wire. Do I need to cut it into 2 foot pieces like the video? Will it reverse if it gets half way through? What if I have a nest of wire to strip?
If it goes only by 380 volts then do i need to buy a 400 volt 3-Fas frequensy converter too ?
all you copper bandit's out their need this.
I wonder how long the blades survive. And I could turn the shafts better.
Yes, but you have to find the right motor and some way to fix it on the device.
TWEEKERS DREAM MACHINE
When your tweakers aren't spun enough to steal copper and clean it for you....TRY THIS!
Can you please tell us what this machine costs thank you!
anyone can make this by themselves, just get two rollers and an electrical engine, belt it up and save money.
oh boy, so the toggle switch is your emergency stop? not in europe
Ahh I see. It's made for European power. To use it here in the states you have to A: have a phase converter or B: use capacitor's in series. I know from working on a Coats tire machine that took that kind of power. Japan has an odd power scale too.

Sounds like a stripper Bar.
No guards on the drive belts?
i think thats 180 degrees, but thats details ;)
So the preasure strips it?
This was not the video that I thought it was...
the phase to phase voltage used in Europe, South Africa, Australia etc.
"On" "Off" "Reverse"
A little common sense goes a long way..
And for a single payment of €2569.99 , your supperstriper will be on your way , plus shipping and handling
It will pay for itself in about 23 years 12 months !
