I have one and the subaru tuned AWD and the ground clearance are both excellent attributes. Also I just got the USDM update and it now has smaller bottom buffer on the pack, shows SOC on the dash and is supposed to have better charging performance!
Any chance to do the same test in a dry sand? Wet sand is much easier to drive in, so this test does not show very well what are the real capabilities of the car.
Can you explain to me why the Toyota BZ4X, when I put it on charge for the first time, gave me 219 miles, 3 months have passed and it only gives me 175 miles, why?
Based on videos testing on the German autobahn the bz4X can hit 170kph, though there might be differences between FWD and AWD performance as well as different markets.
Toyota sold 1487 bz4x in china in 2022 and they only started selling the car in the middle of 2022. Doing the math they are selling a lot more than a 100 a month. And in 2023 they would sell a lot more. Toyota sold close to 5000 units in the first quarter 2023 in china

So after the listing, the price of this car has dropped by 40%-50%. The lowest price reached 140,000 RMB, about 20,000 US dollars. Still no one bought it.
If you are talking about efficiency, combined hgwy+city in SUV category. Only Tesla Model Y(AWD, Long Range AWD, RWD) gets more Le/km. If you are looking at whole bev category then only Lucid air touring and pure, Ioniq 6, Model Y and 3 are the only ones more efficient than bz4x. They match Model S, EV6, Bolt EV and EUV. It still more efficient than ID4, Ioniq 5, Model X, Mach E and everything from BMW and Audi.
Subaru all wheel system works well with Toyota.

Just needs a little more ground clearance. 8.1 inches puts it over half an inch down on the Forester.

Yeah, it's heavy, and it really shoes wen you go up that hill and even MORE downhill.
