Have you thought about mounting your transducer inside the kayak? Like in the front hatch?

I haven’t. I like being able to remove it quickly, and I don’t really want to put a hole in the bottom of the boat.

Yes! Ratcliff lake. It’s in the Crockett national forest. No gas motors allowed. $5 to fish.
