Would like to see the process of cleaning/prepping the concrete for stain. Thank you for your channel, very helpful!
Actually like all the kidding around. Great job guys.
The busting balls banter is my favorite part.
Mine too. :)
Looks like your buddy did a smoother job! He didn't spill anything!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I like watching you guys, I really do. Y'all make me smile and laugh too! LOVE THIS CHANNEL!!!🌶🌶🌶
Thank you. :)
Thanks Eric. In this time of being in lockdown here on the left coast, it is nice to see your videos.
Thank you
Nice job on the floor Erik, once again appreciate all the content. 👍
Thank you
Medium Rare, Leroy!!! Steak Dinner for Erik...4,3,2,.......WON! LOL
🥩
Gorgeous finished floor. I am amazed by your attention to detail!
Thank you.
@@TexasBarndominiums where do you purchase the product?
Hello Texas Barndos, I'm Jon, I do have extensive handyman exp., I'm currently contracting in a truck, after my contract, I was wondering if I could join the crew mainly for training and knowledge? not worried about the pay.
New here, from Demolition Ranch, love the humor, great videos!
Wow Erik! nice disaster recovery!
Not my first rodeo. 😁
Does the type of floor , wether stain, epoxy, etc, change the way how you finish the slab during the pour? Or is the slab finished the same each time no matter what?
No.
Great work Erik whould this work on a garage floor n resist to oil spills? Appreciate ur reply .Thank u
"Vacuum the water while it's still wet." Haha!!
Can one person do this by himself, especially if never done any kind of concrete sealing?
Does any paint store like Sherwin Williams have this sealer? We’re building new house and almost done with framing. I’m wanting to seal myself. Just trying to find right location to purchase that sealer. Love y’all work!! Been watching y’all a few years now.
Take your time brother leroy!!😊
did you do anything special when you finished the concrete when it was pored?
Don’t finish it so tight (slick). We used poly blades, but can do it with combo blades.
That steak taste so good already. Cheer up Leroy.
Indeed. :)
Those must be some good non shedding rollers. I used to do lots of fiberglass repairs and customers would furnish materials and supplies and would bring those two for a dollar cheap rollers that would fall apart immediately. They also shed terribly and left tiny burrs on the surface to be sanded off. I ended up using resin proof rollers and charged extra. On the first lay up it really didn't matter but when I rolled gel coat or the final coat with wax solution added I wanted it slick, no sticker burrs. I got to work in a real fiberglass shop once and the resin was sprayed as well as gel coat. Lots of fumes, we had to wear breathing gear.
Yes, we use solvent resistant, non shedding rollers. Not cheap and we throw them away after every use.
Do you prefer doing the floors before sheet rock? I’ve seen you do it both ways.
Dramatic and tense music versus Leroy brand of jocularity! Went through all the emotions.
😁
Please tell that what kind of sealent you use on concrete first.Epoxy or some thing else
Can you drive across this product?
Excellent video thank you so much for sharing
Looks awesome. Are these APF products suitable to re-seal a floor that was acid stained and sealed 10+ years ago? Even when fresh, my floors never looked this good!
Yes.
So y’all wet sand the floor with 80grit?
Where do you purchase this product
Does the second coat dry clear? Maybe I missed you saying that.
How many square feet will 1.5 gallons of part A and B cover?
Great video. I didn't know there was so much prep work to do. I don't think I can afford to pay someone to do all of that. So, I am thinking about doing my new barn myself. Hum... any short cuts? Maybe not the great job you guys do, but at least a little protection.
You should try concrete polishing. You’ll love the result
is that sealer available to end-users or is it contractor only?
You can purchase it.
Where can we purchase this sealer from?
After floor is finished with sealer is it slippery when wet?
Would those sealers work for an outdoor concrete floor?
Can you put carpet or flooring over a sealed concrete floor
Hi Erik... QUESTION: If I put a high solvent high gloss concrete sealer (or APF 250) in my basement/indoors... are the high VOC fumes STILL considered to be dangerous AFTER the floor dries? Or is it ONLY dangerous while applying and when the floor is NOT dry yet?
Please Contact manufacturer.
@@TexasBarndominiums Wait a minute.... you guys are using APF sealers and YOU don't know if the APF sealer's fumes are dangerous after the floor dries?? Seriously???
Are you putting a color coating over the sealer?
Why do you choose to sea
l with polyurethane vs a epoxy/ polyaspartic combination that contains metallic colors?
Looking for clear sealer only. Polyurethane is easier and more durable than epoxy. It is also UV stable.
Nice job..
Have you heard of or used Paramount coatings PCU products?
Just used 325 with 351 top coat. So far so good. Will see tomorrow
How close are you guys to shiner/yoakum area. I have 200 acres there I was to build on. There is currently an existing well, power, and septic
I have a 300-400k budget
Very close. We are in Floresville.
Like the T shirt Erik
Where’s manny??
How would you go about sealing concrete that was poured "hot".? It has a zillion porous pits and has already been stained.
I would do epoxy 400 from APF. it will fill in all the pits. Do more than one coat if you need to. Then put P501 or P100 on top.
He sounds like a project manager alright lol
What’s the name of the sealer that you use?
I see apf 250🤙
What roller do you use with the poly?
9” non shed solvent resistant
How is Leroy's house coming along??
Slowly. lol
👍
Leeroy the way u talk to ur boss is the best way to get fired 🙃... Lol if thats ur goal u have accomplished
Hey! Dodgey D".😂👍
The guy who spilled the contents of the bucket should be put on probation. We can't have this going on.
Send him to the personnel department for a huge reprimand. Also, cut his pay.
Good video as always.
p.s. Where is Manny?
😎
👍👍👍👍👍
Lol, yeah, I felt dumb when I did it. Not the first time I have done that though. 😂
Why don't you do the floors before the framing?
Slab needs to be at least 28 days old and moisture level below 50%. Framing happens too quick to be able to To do that.
7:40 What do I look like your prom date? Five fingers, no waiting? Come on, man!
Why don’t you use epoxy?
Takes too long to dry and it’s not as scratch resistant as polyurethane
Epoxy is more expensive. We do metallic epoxy and top coat it with the 501.

I thought you where supposed to seal it just as soon as it’s dry enough. Always that’s what others tell me.
250 works wood

I love a partner who will cuss me out after he saved my life ❤
Stand up comedy.
😂
Not showing us as you do a step isn't helpful.
