I just about picked these up and decided to check out a review beforehand and I'm sure glad I did. I'll stick with my standard channel locks until I upgrade to some Knipex pliers. Thanks!
Great video brother. This is your favorite local carquest driver lol. I remembered to come check you out this time my friend. I’ll be giving you likes as I go through your archived videos. You do a thorough job on your reviews.
Excellent review! I bought these a couple of years ago but never really put them to the test. They are definitely not what i had hoped they would be. They slip on bolts and on pipe too easily. They do however grip a little better when you grip pipe all the way in the back of the jaws.
I just bought these today and I was wondering if that button would get in away and I'm looking at it and it does in electrican look at that button like the channes getting a hard in taking them back
@@corygriffiths4394 ya bro. They are expensive but they are kind of an investment. They will last a lot longer than all except maybe channellocks. I've seen some ancient looking channellock pliers that were still functional.
Recently I tested one of these. But I am not very impressed. The knipex cobra pliers are the better option, when it comes to gripping pipes. And the handles touching each other waiting to pinch your skin. All knipex pliers have pinch guard system to prevent this. Milwaukee just rebranded some cheap chinese pliers.
They do. I have them. Idk why he’s not adjusting the jaws to fit. They fit every single bolt I put them on. There’s a few things he said here that aren’t right. I kinda feel like he doesn’t really like Milwaukee because he’s basically creating problems that don’t exist with these pliers.
I’m convinced he’s a Milwaukee hater. For one, all you have to do is adjust the jaws. I just tried on 4 different sized bolts. That all fit in perfectly. Second, that little button comment. The button literally goes all the way down. See how the video cuts when he “tries” to push it in to fit through the vice. He didn’t push it all the way through. I love these things. Not one complaint. And I’m not a Milwaukee lover. I just love good tool’s regardless of the brand.
@zillpickle8910 tried using my bosses pair of these several years ago and they turned me off milwaukee products for years. Most awkward water pump style pliers I've ever used.

Fun little fact, Knipex is pronounced kuh ni pex. They sell shirts based on it.
Thanks for the review

You need the Cobras bro. Get a 10 inch and a 7 inch. Lowes sells them now.
I’ve never went back to any other brand after using Knipex they are expensive but they are fantastic and they will last a lifetime.

You could also open the jaws to ream out bigger pipe using the adjustment button and not have to hold them open

One thing was certain that was very entertaining😄
Outstanding vid 👍🏻
Good review
Such a good review… THX !
Seams to me that Milwaukee design department have great ideas and do listen to tradesmen but the accounts department have the final say.....
Sucks that they don't grip well. To me that's a fail then.

These really look that they are not good on anything

I have the same pliers and honestly find them to be junk in comparison to my irwins and knipex. They are horrible for tight bolts.
