- История была придумана летом, и очень долго прорабатывалась. После премьеры в Дании, в присутствии Её Высочества, я продолжила работу над «Сказкой», и теперь в Германии представлю её несколько изменённой -- изменения эти касаются деталировки. В целом, «Русская Сказка» - аллегория, сборный образ не только русского эпического и мифологического наследия, но и синтез моих детских впечатлений, вызванных историями, рассказанными бабушкой, а также самостоятельным чтением. Я давно почувствовала, что «русскость» - особый тип эстетики, ничуть не менее значимый и глубокий, чем, скажем, эстетика Эллады или Древнего Рима. Летом я задала себе вопрос: какие первые визуальные ассоциации вызывает во мне словосочетание «Русская Сказка»? Этими ассоциациям были -- иссиня-чёрная, переполненная оттенками -- вопреки законам спектра -- чаша леса, красные капли ягод, снег, белокрылые птицы, удивительный по своей сложности и простоте русский сарафан, платок. Волк. Ворон. Это -- неотъемлемая часть меня, это кровь, если можно так выразиться. Я знаю, что надрыв, порыв, лежащие поперёк моей души -- моя русскость. Как и чувство красоты. «Русская Сказка» не задумывалась как проект, она появилась спонтанно, как потребность излить накопленное, выстраданное... «вымечтанное». Спонтанно рождённая, долго дорабатывалась. Я всегда иду навстречу спонтанному, так как думаю, что в нём раскрываются бессознательные потребности.

Kseniya Simonova presents a brand new epic story -- "The Russian Fairy-Tale"
The Lady of the Sand created one of her most aesthetic and beautiful sand ballads, devoted to Russian background of the artist.
- When I was a child, my grandma told me stories full of mystery and honest beauty, tales and songs -- they grew up in my soul, even earlier than I grew up. I am Russian, it is in my blood. I have always been inspired by different Russian things -- from fairy-tales to Russian ballet. Since I started working with sand, I have been thinking on creating a Russian story, a fairy-tale, full of allegory and inner sense -- as I could remember my childhood. Now the time has come, and the story is ready.
The amazing music which you will hear there was created by Kseniya's creative partners -- V.O.D.A. band from Ukraine.
"The Russian Fairy-Tale" has already been performed by Kseniya in Dennmark and was met by applause. The next country where the ballad will be performed is going to be Germany where Kseniya will be performing as a special guest of a big rock festival in Frankfurt-am-Main. - Фільми й анімація

***** my art teacher showed this to us and once it got to the face on the bottom everyone was liek "that's so cool!" but then once you made the mouth into the tree "they screamed" because of how "creepy" the smile was when you changed it but i think this is beautiful and i love this
