Nicely done. Also, the bit “go nuts with that, cheers bye bye “

I enjoyed seeing how you employed this method. I use curves a lot, and I am anxious to try this method for that👍

This is brilliant, thank you for sharing. I’m making a template for the interior of a chimney and this seems like a good approach to get that shape right

You could use a ticking stick to do the same job. Would be easier.

Sure it's easier. If you know how to do it! For most people who had never done either, I think this method would be easier than using a ticking stick.

This is a ticking stick. This is multiple sticks glued for reference instead of a single stick outlined to reconstruct the reference. There will be specific use cases where this is faster and other cases where outlining will be faster, but they are the same core method.

It seems to me using a piece of cardboard or craft paper just a bit smaller than the finished piece, but laying it on the same substrate might improve the accuracy. And by just outlining a single stick instead of gluing multiple ones down you would also save some time.

@@woodthaticould4432 maybe instead of getting everyone else to be quiet, you could just learn how to use audio equipment properly. Does that sound like a more intelligent solution?
