- My highlights from the 21st annual 2024 Arizona Flying Circus which took place Feb 15-18 at MoTown Airport (5AZ6) just West of Maricopa, AZ. The AZ Flying Circus is an aviation fly-in event that features paramotors, skydivers, ultralights, general aviation aircraft, helicopters, and more. Interesting to see that Mo kept up with this. We visited his facility just after he got it, but discontinued flying soon after.

People actually enjoying aviation. This is what I was looking for after taking a 15 year hiatus as a private pilot. Flying is very unfriendly in the PHX valley because of flight schools just pumping people through. Not everyone wants to be an ATP and they don't get that or simply don't care because they can get money from people to do. Got back into flying a year ago and met some great CFIs, but some horrible business owners. One place I was renting from had really beat up planes and tired to put everything on the students/renters and pressured the CFIs not to back what they saw. Never flew planes that bad and finally threw it in again after an argument with the business owner - should have reported her to the FAA, but didn't want the extra hassle. Flew with another CFI one last time at another place - same model C172 but waaaay better upkeep and it showed in the way the airplane flew. Too bad I had to de-prioritize it due to rising costs other priorities.

@@PhenomonAwesome I use a Kavu Rope Sling bag to stow the gimbal/camera during takeoff and landing. While in the air I pull out the gear and install it on a custom leg mount.
Is that Tucker or just some guy that bought the same color wing, helmet and paramotor as him?
Yes, Tucker came out for Saturday night. He was very difficult to keep in frame 😮
