Where are the real Placebo? Clearly Stefan and Brian have been kidnapped and two clones took their place, there is no other explanation for this "never ending" falling on their quality since Meds.

To me they have this new radio like and kinda replaceable songs all over the last album and Ep's Too many friend's or Jesus Son for example.
But the Artist never owe's the fan anything. They must make the music they feel they want to do. On the other hand you are allowed to dislike it of course. Just be respectful. I've been a musician for many years and I know how much work goes into these Albums. It hurts if people talk shit over it and I'm pretty sure they do read comments.

I’m so happy to know Placebo have brought in elements of old school music into their new music yet as a band they’re always evolving musically.
Yes!! I feel like they are the only band/artist from 90s/00s that made a comeback with music that fits in today's times, but still has that vibe of alt/older music. Most comebacks from other artists are just mainstream songs that don't even resemble the vibe they were famous for

We were teenagers when we started listening Placebo, now we are close to be middle aged. They have created some truly remarkable albums (1996 - 2006 era). In general they are consistent to their style and every album has its moment. About the latest album it is early to say as it is not really published yet, but let's agree that we are happy they are still out there creating new music!

I agree that this song is so pop but I think this is deliberate action to show bitter lyrics with fun and sweet music.This guys can do it with music what they want, they don’t have to prove anything anymore. And I really like it and can’t wait for full album and concerts!

It's a real pleasure to hear the sound of placebo from the era of Every you Every me, Twenty Years and Song to say Goodbye. Truly one of the first real highlights 2022! Never thought I'd hear that sound again. They still got it ;)
I'm happy to read so many positive comments about this new beautiful single, after so much negativity from other fans (why???). Only the most devoted of us can see how nothing's ever really changed, the band's true essence is always there. Personally, the song moved me when I first listened to it.

I actually think this song is one of the weakest on the album I love the album though. As my name is James having a song called beautiful James it’s good for the self esteem . Anyway it’s certainly a strong album as the last one was the worst one they did.

So strange...my first time hearing this band. I instantly had a sense of nostalgia even though I can't compare their sound to anyone I've heard before. Their sound is like a old favorite from a parallel life or something.

The first time I listed to this song I felt disoriented, I was not expecting this but then I thought well, maybe this is what they were planning to do, surprising us, giving us something new without to miss the Placebo element. Meaningful lirycs and a captivating sound.
