    Bro thanks for this video I have been thinking about painting this figure of Luke I customized and old Vintage series ROTJ Luke and bought a cheaper luke not th3 black series figure the no articulation series luke using that head and on thr black robed body added a black gloved hand with the older Luke head and now Im gonna do the paint on this custom first cause I wanna make him look younger like 10yrs after the destruction of second death stars. then im gonna do what u did here to make my black series Luke the one u have here look more movie accurate. cause yours came out great.

    My anxiety kicked in watching you paint small details like the eyebrowns holding the head brush with one hand and the head with the other (not fixing it on a stand or something). But anyways the result was great, so much better than the original

    I wish you had of filmed that. Would have been good to see.

    What kind of brush are you using?

    • @FreeterProductions
      @FreeterProductions  4 роки тому

      For the detail in the eyebrows I used a spotter brush 20/0. As for the hair I used a flat brush #2. Both for acrylic paints.

    ES LA MISMA CAPA QUE VIENE EN LA CAJA? O ES OTRA CAPA ?

    Is that the original cloak that comes with the figure or a third party robe??

    • @FreeterProductions
      @FreeterProductions  6 років тому +4

      It is the original cloak. I took off the threading from the back of the hood and stitched the collar to help keep it on the figure.

    I don't mind the hair, but it's like they reversed Han and Luke's color. Luke looks much younger than Han; Han's the one with the silvery-white mop!
    I need better cloaks for the two variants I have of this Luke!

    Where do you get the paints?

    • @FreeterProductions
      @FreeterProductions  4 роки тому

      Some of the paints like vallejo and model masters I got at hobby shops like hobby lobby. The citadel paints can be found at a games workshop.

    How did you do the cape

    • @FreeterProductions
      @FreeterProductions  6 років тому +2

      The Doctor I sewed the ends of the hood together and it goes over the head. Hope that helps.

    Funny how Hasbro can nail old Mark Hamill's face sculpt but they have trouble with young Mark Hamill lol

    What store sell the paint

    • @FreeterProductions
      @FreeterProductions  6 років тому

      dildo shwaggins I usually purchase my paints at small hobby shops that specializes in models. Other places that may have the paints is hobby lobby and game stores that specializes in miniature figurines.

      @FreeterProductions  6 років тому

      I have not used that brand so I can't say if it will work. Try youtubing the paint and see what reviews it has.

    How do you protect the paint from scratches ?

    • @FreeterProductions
      @FreeterProductions  6 років тому

      After I paint I usually use an acrylic clear coat to protect the paint and finish. There is no sure way to protect from scratches.

  • @captain104th

    You should repaint the skin too, still looks plastic-y.

    Would testors paint work

    • @FreeterProductions
      @FreeterProductions  6 років тому

      dildo shwaggins if it’s enamel paint I do not recommend it for it will make the painted surface feel gummy and sticky. Use acrylic paint. Testors does make acrylic paint and it’s under the name model masters.
