What is Grasshopper? Grasshopper is Rhino’s cutting-edge parametric design tool that runs within Rhino and offers a new and powerful way of designing. The software is used by architects, engineers, industrial designers, artists, jewellery designers and many more.
Who is delivering this introductory session? Your lead presenter for this online session is Arthur Mamou-Mani. Arthur is an Architect and director of the Eco-Parametric practice Mamou-Mani. Arthur is also a teacher at the University of Westminster and has been working with Simply Rhino for the past 6 years with his team from Mamou-Mani delivering bespoke Grasshopper and plugin training to companies and for our scheduled Grasshopper classes.
What is the session about? In this session we introduce Grasshopper software and describe what is covered in both levels of our Grasshopper training.
Expect to find out: What Grasshopper is used for; Why Grasshopper is a popular parametric design tool; How parametric design is used in architecture and beyond; What you can hope to learn when you attend one of our Grasshopper classes; Throughout the session Arthur will show examples and outputs of the work achieved in the Simply Rhino classes.
