I follow all the prompts until I reach where you need to hit Mach 3 the aircraft doesn’t accelerate past Mach 1 and engine 3 and 4 are off. How do I reach Mach 3 with out the last two engines enabled.
After doing the inverted roll and get to Mach 1 pitch back to a normal climb. Then keep using the normal engines and the aircraft should reach Mach 3 on its own. Then after you reach Mach 3 enable the scram jets. They won't turn in before this.
You won't get to mach 3 unless your afterburners are on. Engines 3 & 4 are your scram jets. In order for them to start you must reach mach 3.1. Be sure to switch on your beacons, your fuel cells, and your scram jets when you get to ~mach 2. I don't do the inverted roll. Just climb to 50,000' with a climb rate of between 2k and 5k per minute and you will easily hit mach 3.1. Your scramjets will then fire up while engines 1 and 2 will shut down.
I have a problem. The Darkstar has speed brakes. Mine are extended and I can't get them to retract. Does anyone know what the speed brakes are called in the control settings? Spoilers? Flaps? I can't find information on these control settings anywhere on the internet.
Speed brakes are also referred to as spoilers. Go to setting and search "spoilers". Then map the setting called "Spoilers Axis". If you want to use a button for the spoilers then map the "spoilers extend" and "spoilers retract" to a button on your controls / keyboard. Hope this helps.
you can get to Mach 13.6 if you put weather temperature to -130 only when hit Mach 10 then do it
Did not know that. thanks for the tip.
