    Best Oasis tutorials on UA-cam. Great sound and so much more detail and accuracy than tabs I've seen. Keep it up Ant. Champagne Supernova would be awesome. I know there's a few guitars going on there but a composite version would be very welcome.

      Hi Steve! Thanks so much for your kind words! I swear to you when I'm done with the Oasis back catalogue you'll never have to go through the stress of tabs ever again haha! Champagne Supernova is a great idea! We're all mad for those Oasis tracks, and I want everyone to have the best/most practical version to play along to and/or gig with! I'm putting together a list of songs people want to hear and I can tell you for definite that is one of them! I'll keep you posted

    Your videos are superb. Only just discovered them but they are really helpful, stitching in the playing with the music chunk by chunk. Really awesome resource. Thank you. I’m 2 songs into learning oasis and absolutely loving it. Neighbours may not be, but I’m back in the 90s. :-)

    Love your tutorials - always find myself coming to them as my first port of call when I’m reviewing an Oasis song. Have you thought about some scales or basics (bending, hammering on/pulling off) for beginners? Apologies if these exist and I’ve missed them!

    Hi Ant! Many thanks for this and other Oasis's tutorials too. You are simply awesome, everything is so precise and very informative.

    Hi Ant - thanks for accepting my request. Just started a tribute band with mate after being away from music for years. Your Oasis lessons are AMAZING, thank you so much! I am going to have to update all my guitar gear. I'm going for a epiphone shearton 2 for guitar. Am struggling to decide which amp and distortion to buy though. Getting lots of conflicting advice - any chance you could give me a bit of advice on this? Would really appreciate it. Thanks so much in advance

    I really hope you see this comment. What do you use to get that OASIS sound? It is spot on.
    What are your amp setting, what pedals do you use, and what are the settings on your pedals?
    I know it's a lot but I would really appreciate you answering.

    • @AnthonyFernsGuitarTutorials
      @AnthonyFernsGuitarTutorials  5 років тому +1

      To be perfectly honest I can't remember but hopefully this will be of some use to you: firstly, I am using a Blackstar HT-Stage 60, Blackstar amps generally have a good overall clean and overdriven sound (can recommend), there's no overdrive pedals involved, just the raw sound of the amp. Secondly I'm using a guitar with humbuckers, specifically an overpriced Gibson haha. The third thing is to dial in some reverb and play with your EQ settings on your amp. Try not to over think the sound, get a good balance between turning up the gain, and also being able to hear the individual notes on the amp, use the bridge pick up and you're golden!

    Watching your way to play some parts of this song I want to tell you that probably in Oasis you could be Bonhead, a powerchords man. Bad execution!
