i think this game no matter how flawed it is, it will always be my favorite. i can't think of any other game that comes close to how amazing this game's combat is. i wish they would remaster it and make it available on PC.
I think the Xbox one x version is pretty much a remaster with 4k being able to see something like 15% more detail and runs at a steady 60fps with no drops, even on the crazy long staircase fight.
This game has one of the most satisfying and fun dismemberment systems ever. They need to release a PC version that has the gore and craziness of the xbox version
@@dragonmaster3030 dooms Combat is clunky, so is it’s movement, it’s not really great in terms of most FPS games. Animations are poor, it really isn’t that smooth, ninja gaiden however is smooth and not clunky for a hack and slash made in 2008. it’s VERY fluid.
That would be way to big for a remake, also ryus father is Jō Hayabusa, he literally calls him father in NG2 during a cutscene of the second mission. Also playing his father (Jō, would be better for a new ninja gaiden game, than remake, remakes of games are meant to have the same premise and story and player character, not change it entirely, it’s like how you play Claire redfield and Leon Kennedy in the original resident evil 2 AND in the remake. If only Team Ninja was smart enough to make a Definite Version of NG2 that mixes Vanilla and Sigma 2. That would easily be the best action game ever made and hard to to top in the future. I think when it comes to the movesets the second game is the best out of the 3, its just the balance that's out of wack in both versions. Anyway, cool video
It’s a shame we got Sigma 2 instead of Black 2 like fans wanted. Sigma 2 was more polished and had some nice additions but not enough to make up for the unnecessary downgrades. I think it’s safe to say the developers of Sigma 2 didn’t understand what was good about NG2 and probably never will. Ninja Gaiden 2 being backwards compatible is the next best thing though.
@@JmanRising The only thing that got downgraded in Sigma 2 was the gore and making progressing through the levels a automatic process instead of needing key items, which were always lying right next to where you needed to go anyway. The same people who made NG2 are the same people who made Sigma 2, you don't have a clue of what you're taking about. What you probably think made NG2 "good" are exactly the things that made it flawed since everything else but aforementioned gore made it to Sigma 2. Both Sigma 2 and Vanilla 2 have flaws but i think vanilla is a more flawed version. I don't know what you can even mean with "Black 2" as Sigma 2 is actually closer to NG1 than NG2 is.

Developers of Ninja Gaiden 2 did in fact leave Team Ninja to work with Itagaki on Devils Third instead of Sigma 2. How many developers left though is debatable. What I mean by Black 2 is to give Ninja Gaiden 2 the same treatment the original got with Black. Expand apon and polish the game, not downgrade it.

There is NG+, it's called chapter challenge. Did you eve play the game? They fixed weapon upgrades, in vanilla you can get a +3 weapon by the second or third chapter, removing any semblance of balance. Less enemies on screen means nothing when the enemies in vanilla are so pathetically weak they die in 4 hits and lose a limb in as little as 1 and are not allowed to attack more than they do in S2 unless it's to spam projectiles. The enemy balance in vanilla is THE biggest flaw in the game. Only a handful of people left with Itagaki. Judging by the work they produced, all the talent stayed at Team Ninja. They did expand on the game. They added 3 whole new characters, a new weapon, new chapters, new bosses, new enemies and online multiplayer, or did all of that slip your mind?

Metal gear rising Revengece is pretty awesome too.
