Saying you sell a piece, and really selling a piece, are 2 different things...prove it!
🤣
Proof?
@@Pencilbox-r1p your proving more and more that you don’t watch my videos , as I’ve shown on at least 100 of them selling my items , go see my 5 star rating on Etsy or shut up , I’m not about to hunt down every client of mine that I’ve sold to at my local booth or markets to prove something to a troll . Keep up the trolling man it’s a good look for you 👍🏼
Ratings can be faked!
@@Pencilbox-r1p bro carry on man , you’re obviously a troll who has nothing better to do than to comment dumb things. Prove it ?? give me your phone number and I will FaceTime you personally and show you . Sound good ?
Don't ever change the format of you videos. Some of the other UA-camrs have just become a non stop tool selling
I would not do that to my audience brother . I believe that’s why I’ve grown so much with just 1 year of content creation on yt , thanks for the feedback
Yes. Drill the hole in the bottom of tge sniwman candle and use LED tea light candles. Light Frosty up!
Haha hell yeah !!! 👍🏼
Thank you Daniel! Made my day and even a small tear in my eye. Our dog we tried to save from a hoarding case just died after 17 days of loving care. I’m in the path of one of the strongest hurricanes of the century right now. Needed that . Thank you . God bless and prayers for Tampa Bay.
Praying brother God bless you
When I use the shou sugi ban technique I cant help but take it to the extreme. I burn for longer turning the softer parts of the wood to ash. When you brush off the ash, the harder grain is left elevated giving it a raised grain texture. It does leave it quite dark because of the burn, but the more you sand, the lighter it gets
Sweet thanks for the tip 🫡
Battery lights would work in the snowman!!! Love the burnt look!!! Great scrap wood builds!!!
Sweet
I love all 3 candle holders. I was thinking battery candles as well. Also, you could use any finish you like: burn, stain, paint, and decoupage to name a few. Thanks, Daniel. These are great.
Absolutely stunning ! So 100$ spent to make over $1000 I’m in ! I made your last candle holders and sold 2 and have 4 orders that came in so far this week ! You’re such an inspiration brother , thank you 🙏
Yes sir
Awesome man! Congratulations on the Sales!
I love these!! All of them. A hole in the bottom would be perfect for a battery tea candle and leave the top one too!!
Hell yeah thanks for the tip
I have so much fun using my torch😊
Agree on making the snowman a little bigger. Think I’ll spray it white and quickly throw on some glitter. A set of 3 would be great too. Thanks for the ideas!
Sweeeet bro
Heavy Metal Tape Measure Air Guitar AND a Sky Diving Viking in the same video??? We're not worthy... 😂
Loved all 3, but really digging that snowman holder!
Hahaha hell yeah
Love all 3! Thank you for the inspiration!
You’re so very welcome
Great ideas! Especially loved the snowman.
Thanks so much
Love the username btw
Love burning wood but. The sunlight bleach's the burn when left outside 😊. Great new video
Not if I spray it with the right stuff 😂

Another great video Daniel. I really enjoy all your projects. Cant stop saying addadabbaglue all the time, LOL.
lol Adadabaglue!! Thanks bro
Those battery powered tea lights will help then fire issue with snowman. Some even flicker and give off a real nice ambiance.
Thanks for the tip
Nice Projekts 👍. Best regards from Germany
🇩🇪 🇺🇸 Skål 🫡
Daniel, your ideas are great. You asked what idea we had about putting a candle in the snowman. I will try to drill out the bottom so a battery powered candle would fit just snug enough to not fall out. Then ask $15 each including the fake candle. Just an Idea, but I think I'm going to try it. I don't have an Etsy account so my wife will need to be the judge before I send these three candle holders to family for Christmas. Once again, GREAT JOB!
Such a good idea here . Thanks man . Thanks so much for the feedback
That measuring guitar gets me every time 😂 love these ideas
Hahaha 😂 thanks so much
Awesome thank you for another great video. Your the man
Thank you 🙏
Glad you do these bro I’m impressed simple designs yet sells for you and make the $$
Yes sir indeed
Man, those are some badass pieces. Keep up the good work, brother!
Thanks brother Roger
Battery tea lights would work for the snowman that wont cause a fire. You can actually get all candles in a battery version now, and some even come with remotes so you dont have to remove the candle to turn it on.
Hey thanks for the tip
The snowman could be trimmed a little smaller. Then add a eyelet screw and put a hook or a string and you have a Christmas tree ornament.
Hey that’s a great idea ! Thanks man
I dig the snow man best of the 3... Thanks!
Thanks brother
Agreed. I little more girth to frosty would be good. I think it would stand out better.
Indeed ! Thanks man
I like the stickers on the band saw. I've gotta get some made up myself.
That’d be great
Those all turned out amazingly!
Thanks brother
Hi Daniel, Great projects. I really like the scorching technique. A quick thought about the snowman, you could do like you said, but to avoid a fire, use the LED tea lights. All the best.🇬🇧🇺🇸
Ahhh yes duh ! 🙄 🤣
Don't leave those lowes boards in your car!! I left mine in the car and they started separating where they are glued together. No worries, because I just used them for 16 inch shelves anyways. (But if I get desperate for wood, I'm set, LOL!) They kinda look similar to butcher block. I guess they dried too quickly being in my hot car. That's why the separation, I dunno.
Love those candle holders. I would add a country star one in the mix. ❤
@@veea.4936 great tip thanks. 🙏 love the country star idea
From the bottom of the snowman piece, drill all the way into the snowman then set a LED tea candle inside
Just noticed someone beat me to the punch 👊 😢
All good thanks man I appreciate the help
I made some snowmen using 4x4's. They turned out pretty cool.
Super fun to make too
That reminds me. I got about a twenty dollar rebate from Menards Lumber store. Don’t want to lose that. They put a time limit on it.
i have a chuck of similar wood from a countertop install...might need to make some of these..great scrap busters.
Yes 🙌
the snowman, I was thinking drill the bottom and put in an electronic candle so, no worries of fire.
Sweet ! Thanks for tip
Man for Christmas! Looks very delicate
Seen it!!! Liked!! And subscribed!!!! Love watching your videos!! Keep it up!!!
Amazing thanks so much
Suga Boogie 🧟♀️🕺🏼🤣 Fire in the hole 💥🤯 Definitely sparked an idea 💡 I've been thinking about the same thing for the snowmen. Seen a couple options on that front but safest probably electric tealights or led even 😉😉 Thanks for Rockin' Out another BadAss video RockStar 💜🤘🏼🎸👻
Skål 🫡 rock star 💫
When I saw the snowman, all I kept wondering was how can I get a candle inside. Gotta use an led light for that, but a lot of people prefer led to fire because of the safety aspect.
I like the idea of it being a little bit bigger. What if you cut a hole through the bottom and put a wooden dowl in to fill it, but with the candle on the end going in first. If you don't need to glue it in, don't. That way, you can give it a little push from inside to swap out an led.
Bro thanks so much for the tip man , great idea here
Love them Daniel. Sweet projects!
So happy to hear this !! Thanks Vonnie
Great job, love them
Thanks Rex
Dude.. ya have goto stop posting so much cool stuff..I'm building as fast as I can. (Ok..please never stop, I love the excitement)😊

Hey thanks my friend
wow Daniel. great video as always. keep inspiring us.
Thanks Steve will do brother
As usual, thanks Brother! These rock!
Lol. Fire seems like the easier word to say!
Yes 🙌 🤣
For the snowman use a 4x4 piece of wood then drill a hole from the top and then use a votive candle holder
Sweeeeeet !! Thank you
These are some super cool ideas. I’m doing a craft show in December if you don’t mind I would like to use some of these ideas. Thanks for all you do
Absolutely use them up !! Good luck and let me know how they turn out
Great stuff brother Daniel i do like the star tea light holders must say they could be a go in my area oh and big news laser arrives Tuesday 😁😁 need get few more files get set up then good to go. 👍🏴
Awesome video once again
Thanks Don
Great job again
Thanks bro
Hi Daniel! I discovered your channel a day or two ago (via UA-cam recommendations), as I have JUST started my journey into building & woodworking, and your videos are the best/ most engaging/ most informative I’ve found after pouring over hundreds of hours of all different creators! So, thanks from lady (and her hub, although he isn’t much into woodworking or building he still loves and watches your vids with me), who “finally bought a house after 40 yrs and is renovating it from scratch but who has also never held a hammer before while at the same time as renovating discovered she really likes making stuff and now wants to learn woodworking”
Whew! lol 😂
🤣 well I’ll tell you what , you and the hubby will fit right in with the community of the channel . Reading your feedback just warms my heart and I’m so glad you’re enjoying the content , keep in touch rock star 💫 Skål 🫡

Nicely done as always man! Keep it up
My man. !
I would leave the snowman piece at the size you made it in, keep the candle at the top and add a small LED light inside.
Sweeeet that’s great idea thanks
Must be candle holder day, I made one today to but not as cool as yours. Nice Video Daniel!
Thanks Ray
NEVER resist a little dance sweetie!
😊
To do what you thought at the end use led tea lights. Color changing or blue is where I would go to.
Color changing 😱 I love that idea ! Great tip thanks
I just love these!! Great projects.
Could you post a pic on how to layout on the 2’ x 4’ piece in order to get the most from it with little to no waste. I’m just starting out and struggle to make cuts that have the least waste. Thanks for the inspiration, rockstar!
Yes I will demonstrate this on an upcoming video
T light for the snowman
Ahh cool
Inspiring video, yeah! I need to get busy lol
lol hell yeah 🫡
WooHoo!! Another great vid!
Woohoo
They make little led candles about that same size you could drill out the bottom big enough the led candle could could sit under it and drill a small hole all the way through the bottom and it’d be a pretty neat looking effect with the light i think
Sweeet thanks for the tips

Awesome project build Brother Daniel. Been sketching out some designs and working up the nerve to try and start my own little woodworking business on the side. I was wondering if you could maybe make a video on how to start a small woodworking business. I just renewed my membership that you gifted me last month. I joined Chisel Champs. @@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks Sweet thank you brother. Gonna start small locally on FB marketplace and then probably start an Etsy shop. To then create my own website. The goal is to get into building smalls and such; to hopefully lead to building small to medium/large furniture. Eventually I’d like to become my own boss. Have myself and my family more financially secure/comfortable. Thank you again Daniel. I appreciate all you do. As I am sure we all do.
@@KeithBalutowski that mind set is what it takes brother . I always remembered the quote , the difference between try and triumph is just a little , “Umph” Skål 🫡
Bonza Beaut Daniel, love them.

Battery tea lights on that snowman on the inside. They have them in all kinds of designs from regular looking tea lights to melted candle styles.
Sweeet thanks bro
@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks keep crushing it Sir!
That star 🌟 candle holder made me think about another idea. Cut out a maple 🍁 leaf design and sell a ton at the markets in Canada. Probably wouldn’t sell so well here in Australia though. Maybe a Mull leaf might sell better. 😂
Hahahaha
Excellent video! Thanks for the inspiration!
Hey brother thank you
Great episode 😊
Thanks so much Vonnie
You could drill a hole through from the top of your snowman to act as a vent and treat it with flame retardant spray, or just use a battery operated T light or candle. 🕯️
Ahhhh sweet thanks for the tip
Love these!!
Thanks so much ! Super fun projects
Best vids. Best fella.
Thank you
Awesome 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 love it 😁
Thanks so much
Awesome as usual Daniel
For the snowman use an electric candle runs off batteries looks like the votiv candles you have.
Sweet thanks for the tip
I think I realized why you make the extra tick mark when measuring, I'm going to have to implement it from now on
Yes sir , the ole crows foot 😉 I get it from construction
Hi Daniel,
Once again a great and entertaining video. I really like your emphacise on protection during cuts..... but please - get you hands out of the way and use more often a pushstick. Your content is really great and I am pretty sure plenty of young people are watching it as well.
Pls continue with your creativity and stay safe

Great video Daniel! Hey, I was wondering, didn't most vikings have beards?!?! I don't know about the candle in the snowman...sure wouldn't want to try Shou Sugi Ban while on the shelf in the living room!!! Blessings!!!
Hahahaha yes
Your laugh always makes me giggle 🤭
🤭
Shugaboogy 😂. Thanks
😂
LED tea lights.
Thanks
Daniel I believe you can buy a fire retardant spray and light that snowman they make it for cndless
Nice ! I’ll have to look into that , thank you
Really great video and projects. Do you think colored stains would help sales if you offered them in seasonal colors. I/2 the tree strained green and the other half in red. One the start you could opt for blue stain and maybe just paint the star white. I guess the snowman what’s one of those little Dollar Tree faux battery tea light candles. I always love your projects and can’t wait for more. Thanks for sharing and stay safe and dry!
Yes I would say colored stains would work great

I would make a base for the projects to make them less able to tip over accidentally. Otherwise pretty cool!
Yeah , if you have toddlers or a cat definitely need a base 👍🏼. Thanks for the feedback Skål 🫡
Do a trial snow man and see if it burns
Great idea
How about a battery operated votive candle for the bottom of the anowman
Sweet thanks for the tip

I made a short block candle holder drilling out like the snowman, it's pretty cool, I cut the wick down just a bit and it gets warm but not hot at all, I still wouldn't leave the house with it burnin but I think it will be safe?
Cool
I'm here to say I like the video, but I'm not about to hit that like button and be the beast number LOL! I'll come back to be #667
How did you keep the snowman from taring out on the inside?
Exaclty how I said in the video , I went down a bit on one side and the rest of the way on the other side
I haven't heard any of your videos since this one are you okay
All good here bro

Apparently your math doesn’t add up! Or you’re lacking the knowledge!
@@scottbyrd2157 maybe he didn’t watch the whole vid
@@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks maybe. But shouldn’t be commenting things like that Daniel..
Hey buddy, a few things, when finishing my projects if you use 00 steel wool between coats of finish it's a really good finish.
Also I make the snowmen and drill down through the top but use an electronic tea light instead of a candle tea light, also drill this hole first as it ends up pretty fragile and I haven't managed to do it any other way without it exploding.
Finally I noticed you don't use a knife at the rear of your tablesaw blade, you've a heart like a lion.
Hey bro thanks for the tips , Believe it or not brother , that knife causes more kick back than not , nothing to do with a heart of a lion just experience over the last 20+ years .
