I'm loving these "hard mode" videos you've done recently. I actually just thought of one after seeing your 3 billion mushrooms video.
Recently, I created a Cygnus Knight Night Walker character, but I HATE using ammo because it gives me anxiety that I'm going to run out at the worst time.
So I decided to just use the Elemental Slash ability that all Cygnus Knights get, because it costs no MP and can still be used no matter what weapon you're holding.
It one hit KO'd all monsters at early levels, so I decided I'll just use that until the move stops 1 hit KO'ing. I am now level 100 and haven't used ANY of my throwing star skills.
So I thought it would be interesting to see a video where you try to buff up a Night Walker as much as possible and then attempt to get to level 200 without using ANY throwing stars.
I don't know if that's been done before, but a tagline like "Getting a Night Walker with no Throwing Stars to level 200" would just be hilarious.
Ermm... You actually could visit MisusingTV and see Matt grinding a Noblesse to lv 200.
In within 2 hrs.
This is the same vibe as obscure/oddball class builds from the past like bow-whacking archers, HP washing classes, familiar-only summoner builds, Int wand warriors, melee mages, people who made ultimate adventurers or who get Empress' might skill and use only that

This seems super fun to do, especially with a group of friends! I've always been super interested in Maple lore but was unable to find an extensive encyclopedia on the more obscure areas (like Astaroth lore, for example). Kinda sad that we tend to just grind through the first 200 levels without so much as touching the more interesting parts of the lower levels :(
Glad to see Demon Avenger get some love and recognition. Not many people appreciate my main. Man, I do miss those old quest days but I would always get lost on quests and end up grinding instead.

I absolutely love levelling with quests to 200! Recently I've been trying to level to 200 only by using the maple guide maps and getting all the stamps, that's a fun one as well. I would love you to make a video doing it! 😍

Questing sure is a great way for you to explore around maplestory like the good old days. There are places in the video where I have not seen in a super long time.
Also just realized the lore of certain towns are super in depth (like Magatia)
When you realize your leveling progress has been doing quests in the beginning and THEN grinding. Love this.
I actually love to do quests sometimes, I wish they added more post 200 quests that were fun and rewarding and actually helped to level up. It gets boring to just slaughter mobs for hours on end on the same map
Nice! I'm from Msea, just got my demon avenger to 200 from mainly quests too, but it's a tera burning character. Respect by doing only quests to 200! Love to do Monah quests when I'm ard 190 gives you a few levels normally.
i've always wanted to do this run, but it is very challenging. big ups to you!
I literally just want to train my last 25 levels to 200 in quests because training has become sickening, thanks for doing this series copper you always come through 🙏
the only good quests are some theme dungeons and dailies beyond 200. so before 200 theme dungeons are the only acceptable level of exp. and even then, some of them suck so that doesn't always work either.

9:49 Coppersan, you should have mentioned you must press the space button when the 's' symbol appears and don't confuse it with the 's' key! The edge of the purple zone where the purple is the brightest is also the safest place to wait for the 's' symbol to appear.
EDIT: This entire giant bird quest is fucking long!

If I'm not wrong ZAKUM has a quest....lvl 50 Zakum Stone Terror or something if I'm not wrong it's at the lightbulb.
I love your videos coppersan and i have to commend you for playing that god awful class and questing it to 200. I got my demon avenger to 120 for the link skill and it was the worst class in my opinion. So boring, and the skills are SO lackluster. You're a boss!
Zakum does have a quest. It's level 50 and teleports you to Zakum after talking to your 3rd job instructor. I use it on alts at level 100. I get 105 with some exp coupons. (I play reboot)
Yes there is a quest that teleports you to zakum. But no quest that tells you to defeat him. (Except for the reward point quest)
Err... mainly doing the quests is the only way I've played Maplestory. O.o
Sometimes I walked around some maps in Magatia looking at how crowded the ground would get if I kept killing monsters as fast as they spawned, but for the most part, I just followed the quests.

Always played bera GMS, at one point forgot my account and currently at the verge of restarting maple. Im from the netherlands aswell, so what would you suggest the best server to start on would be? EMS or GMS?

Hey coppersan or anyone know where a lvl 211 drk should be training/grinding 10 mil damage range haven't played for about 2 years
Chu Chu / Reverse City are both good til 215, then head immediately to Yum Yum

@@dustinviruet140 I like training on the apple maps. Maybe Yellow Flyons as well. Reverse City is quite good to train on until 215, as well

I've been wanting to get a bunch of people together and do this as a group or guild for years now. Sadly, nobody wants to do this type of thing so it's just a pipe dream.

i really wonder how you are going to lv 190-200..., that is alot of exp and probably not enough quest to give exp (unless the weeklies in haven gives exp?)
Haven and kritias weeklies both give decent exp around these levels but it would take a few weeks using just those. I think maybe friendstory and blockbusters might be good here?
yeah i've trained an alt on weeklies once. it's not really worth it lol but at least the mobs give pretty good exp while you are doing so.
took a week to lvl up but i only get 11 mins vid? i expected at the very least a half an hour video. (30 minutes)

It just has you talk to the job instructor about zakum, killing the boss isnt actually an objective of the quest

Thats all i do are quests lol, that or explore...if no interesting quests, ill just log off. Dont really care about leveling up by 5,000 Levels in 5 mins if that means ill miss out on 90% of the content. How i play anyway

Wish questing was the fastest way to level up. It's kind of lame that the fastest way to level is just grinding through a slog of mobs.
