Black view 5500 literally died to the rain on a job site one month after purchase and their "customer service" literally just a bit that said that's your problem and never responded again lol lucky it was cheap but yah black view is trash
Are any of these rugged style phones compatible with AT&T or T mobile? I like the doogee and ulefone brands but can't get a definitive answer on carrier compatibility.
@@survivalgearofficialSamsung did it with a screw holding the backplate in place even when dropped. So it is possible. It only requires the manufacturers to do a design with a big screw at the backplate. Like on Samsung Xcover and Xcover 2 way back.
i got the v30 and the screen broke in the first 2 months- shattered plus veins and blackout spider webbing, chunks of screen missing, and of course screen sensitivity broken on one side too. been fighting their warranty dept for weeks.
@@roxanaalexandra8483Maybe try the phone model i currently use as my daily driver Doogee V Max with a fast Mediatek Dimensity 1080 5G SoC, front facing Stereo speakers, 32MP good selfie camera on the front, the rear cameras is a 20MP built in Sony night vision camera, Samsung 108MP main camera that takes beautiful photos, 16MP Bokeh/Wide camera. The phone can even shoot videos in slow motion. Overall very much worth the money. Doogee V Max was released in the 1st quarter of 2023. It is rated IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD 810H.
@survivalgearofficial then u should know this ulefone and the blackview cannot survive a 1m drop. The previous doogee was sh** too n I doubt this one is any better

Unihertz Tank is an amazing rugged smartphone
It's built like a tank :)

I had bad experiences with black view to. Didn't work right from the get go
My BV has lasted me since June 2019 and has been literally washed under the tap and been out for long wet hikes no problem.
Thanks for included G2 Guardian here, but we both know it deserves a higher rank for the first and only long range thermal feature. XD
Agreed !
Hell yeah, I love learning about phones from Alex Jones.
Your video is very good, which one do you recommend to use the thermal camera in the inspection of electrical panels?
For a good thermal camera I would recommend the Ulefone Power Armor 18T
Ok, thanks.
19T or 18T@@survivalgearofficial
Very nice and informative video for
The video description blows my mind!
:)))
the ulearmor 19t is better than the 18t?
Was written some problems with 18t If you do not care about 5g or can not afford 18t ultra buy 19t
@@ΣΙΝΤΑΛΚΑΣΑΠΟΛΛΩΝ both have the same features except for the 5G right?

I tried a ulefone on T-Mobile, didn't have great results..... returned it to Amazon
None of these have a removable battery?
None
It’s impossible to make a rugged phone with removable battery.
Let's see in 2027

@@survivalgearofficial Sonim did it without much of a problem.
I bought a Doogee s98 pro and the screen literally popped out after a year and then broke.

I'd like to have it all~!
We just need more Nitts,Hz,notch less, big battery,night/Heat vision and ram.
Awesome
Parents of super active kids. ASSEMBLE!
While I like the design of a rugged phone they are not very powerful
wydm?
Aren't they called "rugged" phones? Built for harsh and worst conditions????
They aren't maked for tech addicts
I know but still, it would be nice to be able to take quality photos

How about a phone that will work in extreme heat?
All rugged phones i have had have been fully functioning in very warm and cold weather. Usually rugged phones can withstand between 50- and 50+ °C.
A cat s61 lost almost all battery after 45 ' in 5 Celsius in a mountain
Casing material most important for waterproof..
Agm is way too expensive...
I agree. It’s a good phone but on the same price range as the flagships from big companies
Dooge v20 pro 🤔
How can you say 5500 mah is a massive battery, c'mon 🥴
👍
You clearly haven't used any of these phones, have you? 😂
If you’ll search my channel you’ll see that I have a few dedicated reviews for these phones
