Hey, Thomas... love that you're stepping into Fairlight to share your process from an Audio professional's perspective! I'm sure you're well aware, but going through the free training on the interface offered through Davinci training would be more than worth your while.
Hey Thomas, Thank you for the video!! Would love to see a deep dive into Matchbox and conforming. Also a deep dive into Automation. Everything from basic valume rides to preview mode and plugin automation. Thanks!!
I edit exclusively in resolve. So I use Fairlight a lot. I'm also a fan of your work, so whatever Fairlight ( Dacvinci Resolve) tutorials you can come up with will be welcomed. There aren't really any actual professional sound mixers who do Fairlight tutorials, they are mostly youtubers and their content is useful up until a certain point (basic stuff), so your continued efforts will be very welcomed.
I'd love to see (preferably in Resolves Fairlight page) how you'd approach creating an audio effect where a character in a scene get's "overwhelmed" with a chaotic dialogue exchange between too many characters that the sound escalates to a breaking point. I had a short film I worked on last year where I had to implement this effect, but didn't turn out very well and I'm sure I did it very inefficiently compared to someone with your experience. Cheers!

Sure thing Mike, I’ll throw those ideas on the stack

I have seen a few pros using fair light but it’s mainly peeps/ companies in Europe.

Resolve allows you to use Pro Tools hotkeys. It’s in the resolve settings.
Yes that’s what I use but I’ve customized the Pro Tools ones so it still takes getting used to
