An introduction to Beamforming

- This video talks about how we actually have more control over the shape of the beam than just adding additional elements or adjusting the position and orientation of the elements. We can also adjust the gain of the signal to each element and apply phase unevenly to each element, and that gives us a lot more flexibility in beamforming. Plus, with the advances in fast analog to digital converters, we can have full digital control over each individual element which opens up the possibility of adaptive beamforming.

bro it is wild that this video is free
I'm going to use it for the good 😮
Clear and crisp explaination. High quality content.
This is the best explanation of beamforming I can find from web👍
This is bloody brilliant.
These videos are simply amazing! I know pretty much nothing about antennas and this is crystal clear
Thanks!
This is a very useful video!! And very good explanation!!
Great work 👌👏
Hi, Brian, thanks for the awesome presentation. The course is based on a certain frequency signal, but in practice, the signal could be a wide band, the speech enhancement for ex. wave length of 150Hz is 50 times to 7.5KHz's, It's difficult to set the microphone distance to cover all the wave length range. Hence, is it necessary/possible to filter the signal into different segments, set/pickup the mic distance accordingly, doing beamforming, and then merge the spectrum segment together? Thank you
Hii sir please make some videos on radar target reflections from multipath. And clutter cancellation algorithm
Hi all, Is there anyone who help me with the performance analysis of the adaptive beamforming-based algorithm for interference mitigation in the mm-wave massive Mimo system.
You mean for shooting people with? 😮 I didn't know it needed an algorithm. I though it was just the same frequency and intensity dispute the range. why not just manually adjust it? or is that not what you meant?
ohh I see. you mean so that the projected mm waves aren't interfered with by other waves from other sources 😐
