The irony was that I was there during ALL of the college football season and Auburn came from nowhere to make the title game (which was in Phoenix)....by the time the game happened, I had graduated and was back at Elmendorf AFB (Alaska).
i hate both teams mostly hate auburn but that cam newton was really good against my dawgs it also helps when u gotta line thats filled with seniors & juniors auburn will have a down year but they should be back in 2012 thats my opinion
@ThaMVP7330 What people fail to realize is that from scratch in '09 Auburn won 8 games without no heisman candidate and with no Fairley and won with the players from the '08 5-7 season. It will be the same thing. The whole coaching staff returning. So i will expect Auburn to win at least 8 games next year but in 2012 they should be in a BCS hunt.
If you see how Auburn runs there plays they run the same stuff every other game, I'm a Gamecock fan but respect to Auburn they beat us. But now idk where Auburn is, I would want to play y'all again especially for what happened in Columbia.
All their starters up front except for one we’re seniors, most of whom had 20+ starts in their career. Lee Ziemba the left tackle #73 had 52 consecutive starts by the time Auburn won the championship. He started from day 1 as a true freshman in 2007. Those guys had played together for a long time and were a very cohesive unit. They were a big reason for Auburn’s struggles the next season because not only did they lose Cam Newton, Mario Fannin, Darvin Adams, but 4/5ths of a veteran offensive line. You don’t replace all that experience and unit cohesion and break in a new quarterback behind a new line and not have any drop off.

Even if he is predicted 2nd team all SEC, all of that is hype. Dyer is good no doubt, I watched him play every game. But by him being so young, a lot of people can't expect him to win games for Auburn. He still have things to learn, such as pass protection. It's a lot of room for improvement for him this year.
USC is no bottom Feeder...they have moved up....and they are pretty much the only elite team in the SEC EAST.georgia hasnt beat any teams with any Quality, florida and tennesee's QB's are both injured although i dont think it would really make a difference..and kentucky cant win...and vanderbilt has no offense.

This is a pure example of how bad South Carolina's offense was this year. Haha. So many chances to score. Just watch the video and you'll see Auburn failing to make third down conversion time after time, but South Carolina's score will not go up.

Once Auburn got a 3 TD lead half-way through the 3rd quarter they threw the ball a whopping 3 times and ran it a measley 19 times...and two of those passes were on 3rd and long where they were hoping to get a first down so they could drain more clock. Your post wreaks of sour grapes, which I suppose I'd be upset if my team got slaughtered in the biggest game in its program's history.

I was at the game. Pregame, USC fans were the nicest I'd been around. Post game, the few you could find were almost as bad as WVU. Almost.
