@Sylvia & Koree Bichanga I guess he gave you 7/10 on Ugali because it's not hard. Kenyans make it hard like brick while Southern Africans that is 🇿🇦🇿🇼🇿🇲🇸🇸 etc they make it very soft way softer than what Kelvin was eating but the rest of the relish is the same minus Pepe only for me I don't like spicy. Kudos Makoti, Muroora (in-law).

Apply red chillie powder , turmeric and salt on cleaned fish and put it in oil when the oil is hot. Reduce the fire when you put the fish. Turn both side of the fish. Take only half of that oil and see that water is not dripping out of fish so that oil doesn't spill like that. You are so good Silvia. Everything looks good. You are very smart and intelligent. Keep up your good spirit.

Hey Sylvia 👋 1st off... I LOOOOVED this‼️‼️ I love when you show Africa... the people, the places, traditions, the food, the dress... all that stuff. It's so interesting!! You have made me have such a love for Africa❣️Thank you always for showing us, (that can't travel to see). Now on another note... I was laughing so much 🤣🤣 Thank you so much for this ‼️ I truly needed a really good laugh... (Tom and Jerry, he - she etc.....)😂😂😂😂. This was wonderfully entertaining 🤗 I'm from the south (Alabama). When me and my husband were dating, my mother-in-law made some mush and I have to say... yuck LOL and as far as kale.... No thanks lol but I LOVE me some Southern fried catfish 🤤. But truthfully, I may try to make this one day just to see because I did learn to eat foods that I never would have ate before when I married my husband (hard times) and now they are some of my FAVORITE foods!! Again, thank you so much for this and can't wait for more to come❣️ Blessings from Bama ❣️🙏

    Your husband was so pleased!
This meal made me think of a Cajun (French) dish we cook in South Louisiana. It’s Catfish Courtbouillon. It is made with tomatoes and similar ingredients but cooked down further and served over rice. Of course we serve everything over rice.

So funny the way you talked to the fish under fry. It's good to see a white woman cooking an African dish for the husband. Gracias, dear. Keep it up. Africa has rich assorted native delicacies. We have a lot here in Nigeria among the different tribes.

Wow Sylvia's im really impressed with how you learn so quickly to cook African dishes it shows how much you really love and care for your husband. Truly my dear you are one of a kind. The bible teaches us that God's way is notlike our way. This teaches us that the marriage was ordained by the Almighty God, and shows us that you were really meant for each other. If he want to bring two people together no one can stand in their way. He alone knows that Koree and Sylvia wete meant to be husband and wife. For a white woman to do what yyi are doing surely it can only be God. Wishing you best in your marriage. Keep on making God the center of your lives. Love the way you each other. With love frm South Africa.

dry the fish before putting in the hot oil ,and make the oil hot before putting in fish, and slowly put fish in ,might prevent oil from splattering.

Ehh Sylvia, you did well. I a hungry right now. The ugali is ok. The traditional ugali has some mixture of maize flour with some millet or sorghum or cassava. It is Cooke on 3 stones with firewood. The mixture of flour in a very hot boiling water on the fierce fire and scent from the burning firewood brings the best ugali. You have to hold the wooden spoon with both hands to turn it.
    You have done well.
