Recently found your channel. What I love most is that your garden looks like mine - tangled in places, a bit messy, not perfectly manicured, but flourishing. Thank you for sharing your tips. We are on the other side of the heat, and now I am also enjoying seeing the new green again. I am really appreciating the fall garden. I like your shots at the end when you can take a look at the garden as a whole and think, “Well done!” 😊
@@ChansyWarrior thank you so much! I love the wild. It represents my personality so well - it tries to be organized and orderly, but the unruliness of it all wins out in the end 😂 So glad we are on the other side of summer!
Your garden looks great! It’s awesome that you’re still getting all that production this late in the season. I’ve been watching your weekly updates but don’t always get to comment. I think you said in another video that you struggled with the pepper green stalk at first. How did you get it to be so productive? I have some peppers in my green stalk that have finally flowered and I’m hoping it will give me a harvest before the frost. Do you have any tips?
@@opraha1113 I did struggle at first! I topped off each pocket with more soil, fertilizer and earthworm castings. Then a week later, I used liquid fish emulsion fertilizer, and repeated the liquid 2 weeks later. Once the soil health improved, it took off!

@@littlesaltyhomesteader thanks! It may be too late this year but I’ll definitely keep that in mind for next year 👍
