Yes. And the older 40 and 55 series were of great tractors too. A 1977 2640 and a 1986 2555 are still doing all I need on farms just like they were new. Made of metal and not plastic. Solid built for years of service
You guys sure aint messing around cutting hay ! My cousin just got a 3 year old New Holland 14' hydra swing disk bine that's like new, I cant wait to see it in the field the first time running. I hope you guys don't get any rain in the next week till you get it all baled ! Keep up the great work. Bandit
@@Farmerjon9660 Well.....try having a smooth hay field.......then you could travel as fast as you wish... 20 mile per hour.... no problem !! Just have to slow down to turn..thats the biggest issue.
When I watched my father cut hay he always squared of his corners so he wouldn't have to make that last swath to get the hay he would miss by rounding the corners. Now to hope that it doesn't rain.
Your cutting hay and here in Maryland where I'm at we have had a total of 4 days without any rain. Guys are behind on everything. Very few have gotten any silage in, let alone doing any major tillage or planting. Enjoy all the vids .

No rocks in that Kentucky limestone ? Nice big fields .
Hay ground not so much. Crop ground has its fair share of rocks

why?
show us your videos mowing hay if you think he's not doing it right . we've done it the same for years
I asked you why?... hes doing it the same way you do!
+oilerman9406 don't think he's trying to impress you or me , just trying to get done in a hurry .
+oilerman9406 and my comment was for the one saying he needed lessons .
I guess you get what you pay for.
How far off the ground do you cut?
We try to leave a couple of inches of stubble left
