Having the John Deere 8235R on the mower isn't long term. Subscribe to How Farms Work ► bit.ly/XYVvDd Facebook ► on. YpS8oH How Farms Work Store ► bit.ly/HFWStore
Several years back someone in New York state posted a vid of some 9000-series articulated Deeres pulling mower-conditioners through alfalfa. THAT, my friend, was overkill.
I think this is the second most overkill I've seen on a Discbine. Driving thru eastern PA on a business trip, I once saw an 8360RT pulling a 14' New Holland center pivot. Can't imagine that was optimal with the risk of berming in the turns, but it looked really cool!
Next tractor purchase consider a Massey Ferguson. The high horsepower tractors are (now) assembled in Jackson, Minnesota. Massey's are coming on strong with AGCO Power (Sisu Engines). Sisu has characteristics similar to the other Scandinavian Engine......Volvo !
Somebody help me. I want to say the crop is alfalpha. I don't hear of it being grown here in East Central Georgia so my guess is only a guess. It looks good. Also Ryan, a quadcopter shot of the striping on the whole farm would be great.
Hi i'm a french guys and i want to know about your soils. Have you some scientifique analys. And the fields why they are lot of green in the middle of the corn and why they are lot of " virage ". Thank
How Farms Work I am in ND, here you never see them that size.. usually 14ft plus.. but way different way of farming here, not as productive land.. and large fields, some hay fields are full sections.
Hey can you answer me on this you look like my third-grade teacher what's wrong with using up your tracker on that smaller mower on the mountain of spring on a gas but he get it done faster so very well the gas is low hey I'm mad I don't know what it is at this time and I want to get mad I Magentbecause knowing the scribes to you because well I do I will
How Farms Work no shit. Which is why your dad who actually paid for the tractor should have tanned your hide! U should be focused on making high quality hay and not making stupid u tube videos...
what a waste of fuel. using a tractor that big. and the fact its a John Deere. You know you don't have to have all one brand of shit right? i know JD stuff is reliable for the most part but it burns sooooo much fuel compared to other stuff
Great video. Will your farm be chopping haylage or are you just baling now?
8R tractors are very popular hay mowing tractors here in Kentucky.
bigtractorpower Just baling since we don't have a chopper any more, but possibly in the future.

LUV your rolly terrain with contour farming ! Beats flat land any day of Z Week !!
Put the 8235R on the hay rake. That would be overkill.
iowadairyboys Don't tempt us
Just do it! (If you haven't done it already)
+iowadairyboys isn't that what he used in this video?

Okay?
Tractor's Overkill? Nonsense, clearly the mower is too small!
RDAllen lol hi randy didn't know u watch these vids lol

Love the camera shots.
i love your use of the drone keep it up and the views will follow
Man,you guys really know how to fly high. Thanks
I simply love these Vids!! Keep em coming

You gotta get some more vids of that 4020!!
Great video, very different field shapes to us in the UK, how many acres do you farm?
That tractor and that hay bine makes a cute couple
have you guys. ever thought about getting a large square baler. The 8235R would run that great.
the 8235R looks pretty sweet on the haybine
Am I the only one who finds this satisfying?
Love watching your video,s, I,am wondering why your fields are in strips and I love your grass waterways for draining run off
Others have made this comment, but I have to mention again, excellent job of aerial photography.

jbmbanter Yes, we only grow alfalfa for hay unless we take a crop of grass off the pastures.
Hey that tractor looks good on the hay mower
You could look into a tractor that is bigger than the 7600 but smaller than the 8235
Hey Ryan, Catching up.
So Satisfying
your flyin
Great drone/camera work. Can you tell me who the music is by?
the 8235r got lonely so you had to use it
the term Haybine is a trakename of New Holland..what you have there is a mower/conditioner :)
Ian bob Yeah, but I prefer the name Haybine better.
Just never know when that extra hundred plus horse power will come in handy.
Hi nice movie! Why these parcels have the irregular shap?
Love your videos but wondering when you were cutting hay with the 8235r why not close up your windrow so your not driving over fresh alfla?
Laying the windrow wide like that dries the hay better.
Laying the windrow out wide like that dries the hay better
Do you plan to hook the Mo Co up to the 46 this year?
You should make it a tradition
82 made it look easy
Does a haybine not do anything to condition the grass like a moco does???
Will you guys go back and set off new strips or modify the ones you have to match your equipment widths?
Bill Whitman Doubling them up
Only if MFWD tractors turned sharper like the 4640
Bigger tractors lead to bigger implements.........trust me been there

Thank
CerealexX14 the grass in the middle of the field i beleive is it help slow erosion
Ryan looks like newer moco?
What series moco is that an size?
I didnt know they made mowco mowers so small.. nice video..
J12345cats This mower is actually pretty large compared to other comparable mowers.
How Farms Work I am in ND, here you never see them that size.. usually 14ft plus.. but way different way of farming here, not as productive land.. and large fields, some hay fields are full sections.
Nice video
Those camera shots are sweet. Like a farming simulator.
It is veryer cool fram acment
cut and bale alot of hay with a JD 8300
why do you make these small pieces of grass land and not 1 big field?
boertje met farming following the contours
how wide is that haybine 9 ft?
11.6 ft hydraswing
why don't you guys get a winegrower for the amout of hay you do i would think it would be cost effective
***** We have less than 40 acres of hay on the farm then whatever else we make.
Whats up with the field shape?
+Ignafiltro Sanchez Ikr
+Ignafiltro Sanchez Ikr
its for water erosion on the hills
im sure ye have been asked this question alot .Im from Ireland why do ye sow your crops like that all in one field????///
Michael Fox They're called contours. They used to be big to help slow erosion.
So you were like YOLO
Didn't you say all your implements are too small for the 82? Just sell the other tractors to pay for new implements ;)
Why have a strip of hay and a strip of corn and again ?
Hey can you answer me on this you look like my third-grade teacher what's wrong with using up your tracker on that smaller mower on the mountain of spring on a gas but he get it done faster so very well the gas is low hey I'm mad I don't know what it is at this time and I want to get mad I Magentbecause knowing the scribes to you because well I do I will

Good Lord u r driving over every row!! My dad would have killed us for being so stupid.
+Andy Hass Maybe you didn’t notice, but the tires aren’t spaced to not run over every row.

Troy Peel like what tractors I have a Kubota, John Deere, and a farm all the John Deere doesn't burn nothing
