This food looked so delicious, I had to go out to buy a few ingredients and get cracking straight away. It only took three hours to shop, chop, cook, serve and eat: Chicken gyros (I know, it only marinated for an hour and a half), Greek flatbread, tzaziki and a Greek salad. Absolutely bloody delicious - even if I do say so myself - but so did everyone. And it was so cheap to make. Perfect! x

I followed all your instructions except that I have only marinated for one hour instead of 2 days for testing. I also cooked it by little batches and cleaned the pan before adding some more. This truly is a fantastic recipe. I make it multiple times per year; always raving reviews from guests. I do add a little cinnamon to my chicken marinade as just a personal preference.

I have looked around for such a recipe but never found one that tasted anything like it. I have never forgotten this dish and would love to eat it again. Please help. :)
the secret to this is the marinade. wonderful blend of right herbs. I didn't use a non stick pan...at the end, I deglazed with lemon juice. the juice was exceptional!

easy tzatziki dip sauce goes perfect with pita.He has a video on how to make tzatziki and its spot on.
I made his other gyros and they were spot on, I can't wait to try these. Also, he makes the best cucumber sauce around!!
