Rogue Runes and Poisons for Phase 3 WoW SoD Classic - Sunken Temple

- In this video I'm going over all the Runes coming to Phase 3 and Poisons which may come in Phase 3, but probably we'll get them in Phase 4!
So how is Rogue looking for Sunken Temple? They are looking promising with great Rune additions, sadly we still need to be top tier DPS in order to get a raid spot since we don't offer any Party or Raid buffs except a bit better Armor Reduction than a Priest.

I am excited for Phase 3! It's looking a lot better for Rogues than Phase 2 - Our Runes actually do something this time around. Hopefully we'll end up near the top of the DPS Meter, otherwise there will be only 1 Rogue per 20 people in the raid.

Also being stuck on mutilate, the s3 daggers don't look great. Wish the Dire Nail dagger had higher top end damage.
Even if they don't look great... Mutilate is still a lot stronger than Saber Slash.
Great video as always ! Still sad that we have to stick with mutilate and poison. It would be sick if they would provide us a blood spe with saber slash so at least we have two gameplay options. Phase 3 doesn't seems to be very gameplay creative so i hope at least we do good damage. Still waiting for a party utility and a sword gameplay in phase 4. Hope is the only thing we have left i guess ^^'
Maybe they make a Saber Slash buff on the day of the release - it seems unlikely but you never know!
I doubt that they will add more utility to Rogues sadly :(
By adding more utility I mean adding party/raid wide utility at all :D

I actually think the sims are incomplete, with a few minor miscalculations just like last phase. Especially with reduction of nature and physical damage resistance plus SnD rank 2 being 30% attack speed buff instead of 20%. Having 100% SnD uptime on any fight that is over 1.5 minutes, cut to the chase will win out. Carnage will only be good if the boss dies fast and you can pre-prep SnD such that you can just spam envenom after hitting a nice garrote and vanishing for a 2nd garrote.
We just have to wait and see. You can still cast Slice and Dice we'll have a lot more Combo Points than we use to have...

I don't think so, but you it wouldn't be the first time that I would be proven wrong xD
The last one, Unfair Advantage says it's a druid rune. Not a rogue rune. Or am I missing something?
I'm not sure why that is the case, but the same happened with Homunculi, it sometimes says requires Mage even though it's a Priest Rune.

Dont you think that saber slash x3 stack +20%damage of carnage >mutilate?

But i see a world where fist weapon raid with extra attak ( +HoJ?), 20%damage on 3stack saberslash + mangle debuff > fucking trash new dagger & mutilate
@@inmate13008 Hand of Justice is level 53 Trinket I believe. Fist Weapon Specialization offers +5% Critical Strike Chance, Swords offer 5% Extra Attack.
Overall we'll have to see in the raid what's the best, but I'm like pretty sure that Mutilate will be the king.

I do not talk about fist spec but the fist set. MH give extra attak anf OH give +8% nature damage.
The utility of mutilate is fast combo point builder but in term of damage flat it s not that good. In my opinion honor amang thieves + 5/5 Seal Fate ll reduce the gap with mutilate.
Yes mutilate is a good instant poison proc too but bleed damage every 2sec on saber slash max stack gap by far an IP proc.
All that is assumption and yeah ofc anyway we ll see🙂
@@Markonicus I simmed the two fist weapons with Carnage and HoT and it does pretty much the same damage as the best dagger build. So I'd say you can play both. The advantage is that you naturally keep Carnage up so you can spend more combo points on Envenom.
The poisons were either meant for pvp or blizzard doesn't understand their own rogue class
There is a word that they don't have a single Rogue developer working on SoD xD

Rogues are litone of the best pvp classes and beloved my many pvpers.
It’s part of its class fantasy.
If you have specifics you want to see then make a constructive suggestion.
The poisons are also effective in pve in specific situations like being a rogue tank and debuff if a boss and normal enemies.
By giving us more utility? Yeah utility is going to cost PERSONAL dps. But it will buff the overall groups performance. You have dps brain and it shows. dps brain is dangerous.
@@hinatakenpachi6564 and you're dumb too. Rogues are built like glass canons. We were 2nd best dps next to warriors in vanilla. Now we are bottom mid of the pack and everyone can burst us done immediately. Get lost scrub.
