This is a clients build.
Mods:
Generous amounts of Polyfill
Removed stock foams except IXPE foam and plate foam
Foam pads under stabilizers
Manually balanced all wires
Holee-modded all stabilizers
Lubed the wire and housings with GPL 205g0
Akko V3 Cream Yellow Pro housing and Piano stem and top housing for spacebar
Gateron Oil kings on the rest of stabilizers
Noico Sound Dampener 80mil on spacebar and backspace keycap for the extra thock.
Bro violated that spacebar.
The fact that you use your index finger instead of your thumbs to press the space bar is almost as shocking as the sound of your keyboard
I’ve never heard of that one 😅🤣🤣.
i might also be guilty of pressing the space bar with my index finger 😳
I came from a laptop and it’s kinda hard to press the space with the thumb so i use index
Honestly quite disturbing
One of the best sounding M1 builds I've heard. Id love to see a build video on this!
So creamy and clacky. I love it 😍
the thock is insaneeeee 😭😭💗💗💖
The space bar is just... OUAGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Bro , the moment i heard it , i got goosebumps! That is so satisfying! Keep it up! :)
The 3 keys on either side of the spacebar always sound the best. I would love a typing test featuring more of those keys
Love the way you pressing the stabs bro haha, both that and the board sound amazing too
So purple i'd love it regardless
the dedication to this build is crazy. noico AND a frankenswitch on the spacebar. maximum thock achieved
This sounds phenomenal!
This is the first video I have seen from your channel. This keyboard sounds amazing and I saw the description so I'm just wondering if you sell these keyboards you build? If so I definitely don't mind buying from you guys :)
At the moment we are only selling on Etsy.. we plan on diverging soon though. Message us on Etsy we will accommodate your requests (:
@@milkyboards I see, thanks
Did you remove the VHB insulation layer and did u add the extra tape given in the box?
Yum it probably tastes like putple grapes
Just wondering, is the regular M1 similar to the M1W. Would this board sound the same if it were just the M1?
They are basically the same, minor tweaks maybe, just the M1W has a battery and the M1 does not.
What are your thoughts on the milky yellows vs oil kings? Im thinking of using one or the other in the future.
I’ll make some new sound tests with the Oil Kings and I’ll report back with that answer 🫡.
how big of a difference did lubing the oil kings make? im trying to decide if i wanna hand lube mine since they supposedly have really good factory lube already
It's a decent difference, I reccomend lubing them.. Bag lube the springs and stems and coat the housing.. shoudnt take more than an hour and half taking opening and closing the switches into consideration.
@@milkyboards thanks!
Did you keep and mod the stock stabs or are they different?
These are different, but the stock stabs are just as good. Hole-modded, wire balanced, GPL205g0 on wires.
How did you relube these switches? Did you remove the factory lube from bottom housing and stem?
And are these switches worth it?
The stem and spring weren’t properly lubed, so that was done from scratch.. the housing was lubed, specially the rails, so I just spread it out evenly and added some extra lube if the housing needed it. Personally, the difference stock vs lubed is pretty significant no matter the switch is the conclusion I’ve come across recently. The switches are worth it if nothing else in the price range catches your attention, i would do a comparison between the Epsilons, Ink V2s, Aqua Kings ect and see if these are still worth it.
@@milkyboards Should I remove the factory lube completely and relube the housing and stem? And when is that comparison coming?
Stop it, I was happy with my keyboard before D:
YAURR
Bro that was a long a$s coiled cable, where did you get that?
Bought it 3 years ago off of Etsy
Will the sound change if you add the tape mod?
It already has tape mod, adding more layers would make the sound deeper and louder
@@milkyboardshow many layers did you add to make this sound? The desc didnt mention the tape mod
omg i love it so much, but my wallet doesnt D:
What would you recommend between aqua kings and oil kings for the jris75 with an aluminum plate and possibly mt3 keycaps? I like deep sounds and pe and possible tape sounds. Trying to decide on aqua kings or oil kings. Maybe even mode switches. But person selling me switches is charging the same for oil kings or aqua kings. Heard aqua kings were quieter or softer. Heard ink blacks are muted and alpacas are high pitched. I like deep thock heavy loud poppy marbly sounds like when i had a kbd75 with brass plate and oa switches and SA keycaps. I do not want a quiet muted thin clacky high sound. And it seems hard to tell since both aqua kings and oil kings sound for some reason very similar to me
what is your Discord?
Have you done any mod on this keyboard?
