Finally got rid of the ugly hood prop and installed hood struts along with a rear wiper delete plug.

Kirk’s hood strut kit is awesome! Best $100 I’ve spent! Makes it nice to work under the hood as well without the stocker in the way

I did a video like this on a carbon hood strut kit, the install was nice but the actual product sucked. It really didn't hold the hood up. How are these as far as holding the hood up and shutting the hood?

Ill have to check it out to compare. The hood goes up slowly but with some assistance its quick. Hood stays up high no prob and shutting it takes very little effort. We will see how it holds up though. I actually did look at the cf ones, they looked really nice. Sucks they don't work as good as they look lol.
