E6x aftermarket Sport button installation and coding for Pre-LCI & LCI models

- In this video, you will see how I installed an aftermarket Sport button on my Pre-LCI 2005/08 E60 including a tutorial for manual coding to properly activate all the benefits of a Sport button.
I also included a short description for the LCI models, but for more information on it search on Google or UA-cam.
E60, E61, E63, E64 with Sport automatic transmission
Dynamic Driving Control (FDC) is activated with the SPORT button: Gearshift times are shortened and the shift characteristics are made more sporty. The engine responds more spontaneously to movements of the accelerator pedal. The steering and holding forces of the steering tuned for a sportier feel - for Servotronic or active front steering (AFS). Active Front Steering).

Why is my steering wheel not hard i changed everything it just Shows Sport in the cluster
Hello, thanks for great installation video. Everything worked fine. But coding is something else. Maybe make a video for it? Searched on web and could not find anything relevant with full guide.
Thanks for a feedback. If your car hasn't been updated you will have a different settings available. Mostly you need to code the Kombi and SGM/KGM. Find the references for FDC or sport and activate it. In very old models you won't be able to adjust the stiffness for the steering wheel as there is no option for it. Once you update the modules or all of the car then it should show up. Any issues write it here, I'll try to do my best to help you out.
Is this mod possible on every e chassis? I have a e90
No, unfortunately not. E90 do have a Power button it's called a Drivelogic, but it's for double clutch gearboxes as I read it...

Yes, everything else beside the gearbox obviously.
What program are you using for coding?
NCS expert to read the file and code it. NCS dummy for enabling the options in a file.
The coding part resolution is so low that can't really see the text
Hi, yes I agree. There is seems to be an issue with the quality in UA-cam settings themselves. Quality is not available... Check in a day or two, it might be fixed.
