The prosecuting attorney who rail roaded him should have to serve the rest of his sentence.
$22,000 per year to keep an inmate in Texas .. why should the people be robbed to feed and house him? Just take him to international waters, and let him go. If he manages to make it back, we can hope that he learned his lesson. If not, he isn't our problem anymore.

Pardons used to be for the GUILTY. Now they are for the INNOCENT.
Insightful
I want what you got, that shit is hella strong
Why would you pardon the guilty???
No, it’s for the guilty and innocent.
@@joshkrause2977 pardons for the guilty are usually done after their time is served. It lets them live their life without the past haunting them after they have proven they have reformed.
About time. The man should never have been charged.
Oh he should have been charged and then found not guilty. Then he would be able to sue for false arrest.
@@MH-eu1dr it doesn't work like that with the "just us" system

Yeah, too little too late.
Now the gentleman that defended himself when illegals entered his property should be pardoned next.

He can’t be because his trial ended in a mistrial and the prosecution decided not to retry him.

@loopthetube shot down more implies an injustice rather than a physical action.
@@codythomas52 I wasn't offended. Just recognize how loaded words can be used to illicit a certain response. Austin, Texas, like nearly all large American cities, votes overwhelmingly Democrat. The city of Austin dominates Travis County. And that is where the jury members were chosen from. Their vote to convict Daniel Perry was no surprise.
As someone that was born and raised in the Austin and surrounding areas, I got out because Austin has become a shit hole and is very different from the Austin that I grew up in.
