It's like this dude created this bird feather by feather , the way the great creator meant them to be!!! I only wish i could see half of what this artist sees. Thank you for making my day at the very end of a long and stressful day.
THIS IS A DRAWING?!?!?! WOW AMAZING!!! Your art always looks so realistic! Thank you for sharing your talent with us and for being giving young artist hope :) Thank you!!!!
Hi. I'm coming to you from the future. Oct 25, 2020. I have only recently discovered your channel and am blown away. The first video I watched was the one where you explain the emobssing and how it works with the artwork. Simply amazing. I would love to see a real time tutorial on how you did the owl feathers. The realizm is incredible! Thank you for sharing your special God given gift with us all.
You are so talented and honestly such underrated channel! You most definitely deserve way more subscribers and more acknowledgment for your amazing artwork, I am proud to say that I subscribed before you reached 100,000
Your work and choice of music is beyond brilliant. Just watched your making of your walnut frame as well. Amazing job, but please invest in a feather board, push stick, blade guard and splitter for your table saw. Your talent is too good to be cut short in a split second or two from a possible accident. Keep up the amazing work and remember “Safety First”.
Stunning, amazing, awesome and talented skills...from mistakes still come magnificent artwork, well done. Just 1 question, what scratcher did you use?? Fibreglass pen??
Wow this is amazing, looks like a photo. For the smaller feathers, that almost looks like cross hatch did you use Q-Tips indenting the paper or the white pencil. I was trying to see, but it flashed by so fast 😊
I drew an owl yesterday. Or at least I THOUGHT I did until I saw this. You should quit your day job. Michelangelo will be honored to meet you some day.
Do you scratch in the white details with an etching tool? It’s perfect, however you did it. Lovely work!❤️ EDIT: I slowed it down and saw it. Wonderful use of that tool. How do you like mixing graphite with charcoal?
Yeah, I do the same thing, slow the playback speed way down. I was wondering about the white of the feather vanes too. Thought he must be first before all else etching all that with a stylus but it actually looks like the white detail is being lifted out with a Tombow as he works from area to area.
Tim Ennis I think it’s both. At the very beginning he had a light at an oblique angle so he could see the scratches. I think the genius of that technique is that they are easier to recover if you go too dark. He must go square by square on his grid to match his reference photo. Just outstanding detail. Even the depth of field is accurate with the closest in focus and the background slightly fuzzy. I love it!
Tim Ennis I also notice that he is using the Tombow more in the less focused areas. He’ll pull the black out to recover the white, then use the smear of black to become the negative in a highlight area. Does that make sense? Also (also also) uses a dull charcoal pencil over the scratches to keep them sharp in the detail around the eyes. Yes, I’m kind of obsessed with this video. I have a thing for charcoal, and I’ve learned tons from watching this.☺️
Yep i indent/scratch the paper. I don't really use graphite anymore. one of the main reasons is that it doesn't blend well with charcoal in my opinion, so now I pretty much only use carbon pencils and charcoal.
@C Fiddler Art how are you getting the thin white lines on the feathers around the eyes? With a white pencil, or did you scratch them into the paper before drawing?
