I LOVE your idea! These are so cute. But I wanted to share something and I THINK you will appreciate this: I ordered some "faux" tickets from somewhere, but obviously something got lost in translation because some of them had some very funny text, like "ENJOY PLEASURE"" or just one word, like 'DAY" or "WEATHER," things that mean NOTHING by themselves. One also said "THE WIND IS BLOWING" so I shared some of them in a text with my son (who lives in another state, but he has a warped sense of humor, like me) and so HE started thinking up some sayings that mean nothing, like "BREATHE AIR" and "BRIGHT SUN." I thought you would appreciate some of these "off the wall" sayings! I personally get kind of sick of the "platitudes," like "enjoy every moment," because I'm older and have been hearing them for years, so the above examples just made me laugh out loud! I can imagine how I would do if I was trying to translate another language, so I am not being critical in any way. The English language is the most confusing in the world, I think (as in THOUGHT, THOUGH, BOUGH, BOUGHT, etc.), and I don't even know sometimes how anyone can figure some things out when they're trying to learn English! Anyway, sorry this is so long but my hope is that you get a laugh out of it. Thanks again for sharing your fantastic ideas.
OMG- I love that you shared this 😂😂😂😂 cheers to having a warped sense of humor!! You are 100% correct- not only do I love that but I’ll be adding them to my next document to print. “Breathe air” made me snort🤣🤣🤣🤣. Listen, sometimes that’s all we can do (breathe) and other times the mood is such that it’s all we’re *willing* to do. Also contenders, “get dressed”, “don’t freak out”…ahhhh, I love this topic.
