True story this from 2019. I helped my Somali Muslim brother and his family whom I love to death move house. It took about 3 trips to move everything. Anyways, out of politeness I gaged with his wife to see how she felt about there new house but noticed that she would'nt respond or even make eye contact. To add to that he locked the door behind him every time. This annoyed me alot and wanted to understand why she acted this way so by the 3rd trip I asked my muslim friend "are we not allowed to talk to your wives?" He just looked at the ground with basically no response but with a 50/50 nod. This experience just made me feel like someone with a rapist status. We both also worked for the same company alongside another muslim brother from Iraq. This guy from Iraq was part of a team that was led by a female and he did not like taking orders from her with a passion and I'm talking heated arguements. I was invited to where they prayed and went twice but after those 2 experiences surrounding the women I was put off Islam. And like the brother said....the yoke that Jesus provides truely is light and not burdonsom. Going back to the first part of my comment....If there were no men around to plant a seed about Allah in me whom they proclaim to love and serve but had to rely on a Muslim women I don't think I will succeed in extracting anything out of her which is really sad especially when you take in to account a simple question about how you feel about a house. Jesus said "you will know my disciples IF you have LOVE among yourselves." My core interpretation of that is that you have to inliken yourself to a surgeon in a operating room but with more higher importance with that particular life in front you that needs saving. I cannot fault my dear Muslim friend or his wife or the other co-worker from Iraq but only the one who founded Islam and who also instituted some questionable rules that they need to live by and thats Muhammed himself.
