I have spoken to so many Muslims who have very little knowledge about Islam, its history and the Quran. When I mentioned the contents of the Quranic verse 33:50, they got furious with me and very aggressive exclaiming that there is no such verse in the Quran or that my English version was biased against Islam. After having read the verse in their own Qurans, they came back and made excuses for the verse due to the historical events.
As an ex-Muslim, I completely understand that mentality. Deep indoctrination, often together with pressure from family and community, often from early childhood... It's important to work with these people with a lot of patience. When we hear about Muslim gangs and no-go zones it's exactly because people live in those communities for their entire lives where questioning your beliefs and practices is unacceptable. But with effort and patience people can unlearn anything.

I've noticed for years how open critique of religion is perfectly acceptable, in western nations, apart from Islam. Yet, when held to scrutiny, the Qur'an is clearly based on dogma, control, war and aggression and has dubious morals. That we don't have such public discussion always baffles me. I remember a Muslim women who came into the shop I work at and she was nice enough I guess she didn't speak much and wouldn't look at me well not my face she mostly looked downwards but when her husband came in with her he would grab her arm and drag her around the shop he didn't talk to her or anything just dragged her around this offended me to no end as an aspiring gentleman. I tried to say something about this behaviour but my boss stopped me part way through because he was afraid of the man because he was Muslim and didn't want to be accused of being racist or anti Muslim (He told me this quietly) I didn't care and "subtly" made my distain clear to the Muslim man when my boss wasn't around and now she come in by herself again. I don't know if I was because of me or not but it's sorta nice to she her again without him even if she still doesn't really talk or look at me properly I hope its at least a break from the treatment she receives at home. I sometimes let her have the flowers for discount price or even free depending on the sell by dates I am kinda not supposed to do this it's not exactly wrong but not exactly following the rules you see after the sell by date is that day I can sell them at a big discount to get rid of them but if the Sell by date is pasted I am supposed to throw them away because you may get food poisoning is you eat the flowers (Yes really that's the official reason) but I sorta give them to her for free kinda technically if I throw them in the bin outside they are public property so if she takes them well that's not my or the shops responsibility so she gets free flowers this way I just made sure she knows not to eat them (I had to do this because I have Aspergers syndrome and have to follow the rules it's a quirk of the condition even if I think the reason is dumb) I would much rather her enjoy them than bin them and honestly she looks like she needs all the joy she can get so if I can save a few flowers and even make her smile for a moment I will happy risk getting into a trouble but again technically I am following the rules and doing nothing wrong I am however using my knowledge of the rules to subvert them while ignoring their intent so I don't think I can actually get into trouble for this I may get a talking too for this but I will use my Aspergers as an excuse as its a convenient truth that I follow the rules and am technically doing nothing wrong. I don't use my condition in this way often but I am willing to do so for a good reason for example the rude drunk guy who used to come in to buy more alcohol when the pubs kicked him out. The first time this guy came in he didn't look well so I asked him "are you ok" he answered "Shut up" to this and any questions I realised he was drunk but didn't know what to do so I called my boss who didn't back me up in denying service to him as far as I knew we aren't allowed to sell alcohol to drunk people but my boss made me serve him on a few occasions my guess is he didn't want to deal with the problem but on night I was training a new girl young (Not my job to train people on the till and the boss told me they don't hire people with no till experience so I worked at charity shop for free to get my job at this shop my guess was because I had Aspergers he didn't want me dispite me doing well working at this shop for free) but anyway in comes drunk guy who is his normal rude self to the new girl for some reason I tolerated his rudeness towards me but against this girl my blood boiled so I took over for the new girl and refused him service (as I had been looking it up and how to do it and having experience helped too) and told him the shop doesn't tolerate customers abusing staff and pointed to the sign that said just that, he said nothing then I politely kicked him out and this is my favourite part the fact I did all this and was still 100% polite about it and fully with in my rights and followed all the rules so my boss couldn't say anything they say knowledge is power and I definitely had the knowledge to give me the power to to banish this rude man. I don't know why I let people treat me badly but I can't stand others being mistreated is it just easier to stand up for someone else or was it that I wasn't new any more and knew better that time?

You should have told her what the New Testament (Bible) says how a husband should treat his wife. To love her as his own body. There is NO violence. Jesus is the Groom, we are His Bride...He laid His life down so that we might be saved from sin and death. Marriage is meant to mirror that relationship. I would much rather her enjoy them than bin them and honestly she looks like she needs all the joy she can get so if I can save a few flowers and even make her smile for a moment I will happy risk getting into a trouble but again technically I am following the rules and doing nothing wrong I am however using my knowledge of the rules to subvert them while ignoring their intent so I don't think I can actually get into trouble for this I may get a talking too for this but I will use my Aspergers as an excuse as its a convenient truth that I follow the rules and am technically doing nothing wrong.
I don't use my condition in this way often but I am willing to do so for a good reason for example the rude drunk guy who used to come in to buy more alcohol when the pubs kicked him out.
The first time this guy came in he didn't look well so I asked him "are you ok" he answered "Shut up" to this and any questions I realised he was drunk but didn't know what to do so I called my boss who didn't back me up in denying service to him as far as I knew we aren't allowed to sell alcohol to drunk people but my boss made me serve him on a few occasions my guess is he didn't want to deal with the problem but on night I was training a new girl young (Not my job to train people on the till and the boss told me they don't hire people with no till experience so I worked at charity shop for free to get my job at this shop my guess was because I had Aspergers he didn't want me dispite me doing well working at this shop for free) but anyway in comes drunk guy who is his normal rude self to the new girl for some reason I tolerated his rudeness towards me but against this girl my blood boiled so I took over for the new girl and refused him service (as I had been looking it up and how to do it and having experience helped too) and told him the shop doesn't tolerate customers abusing staff and pointed to the sign that said just that, he said nothing then I politely kicked him out and this is my favourite part the fact I did all this and was still 100% polite about it and fully with in my rights and followed all the rules so my boss couldn't say anything they say knowledge is power and I definitely had the knowledge to give me the power to to banish this rude man.
I don't know why I let people treat me badly but I can't stand others being mistreated is it just easier to stand up for someone else or was it that I wasn't new any more and knew better that time?

You should have told her what the New Testament (Bible) says how a husband should treat his wife. To love her as his own body. There is NO violence. Jesus is the Groom, we are His Bride...He laid His life down so that we might be saved from sin and death. Marriage is meant to mirror that relationship. The husband lays down his life (desires, needs, and even life if necessary) for his wife. Now that's REAL LOVE. ❤
