@@alyssaburda2090 The main fight with Hades dealt some major blows to him that basically left everything aside from his torso and arms having to be replaced by his own powers. It's also made clear that Hades CAN be hurt by Pit's normal weapons in Chapter 23, just not to the capacity of what the Great Sacred Treasure can do, ya know... like cutting off the entire lower half of Hades' body. Anyways, another big factor of Hades' death was simply the fact that the Great Sacred Treasure's gun was broken. What got it to work was Palutena using her own powers to charge it, simultaneously making it incredibly strong. Seriously, I don't know if you noticed, but the Great Sacred Treasure can't just DO that.
Best part is... it wouldn't be one of the most memorable parts of this LP if he didn't actually step up to the challenge and win on his first go. People beating this level on 9.0, doable, on the first try, damn unheard of but still possible, while recording for a let's play, he must've encountered a four-leaf clover, pack of dolphins, and seen a shooting star before this.

Yeah in my opinion it was actually a pretty easy fight even on 9 I found the 3 trials to be the hardest level to beat on 9 for the hades treasure hunt and still cant do it but 25 was the first one I beat even before chapter 1 hades is really a pushover.

Funny story, once in my English class we had to choose a monologue (from anything) and perform it. And I chose Chugga's little "speech" he had done before the start of this chapter (the BRING IT ON!!! one). I ended up freaking out my class because of the screaming at the end. XD

words can't describe how much I love this game. the dialogue is incredible, the gameplay is out of this world. everything about this game is perfect. this IS my favorite game of all time.
2 things: 1) How was Dark Pit flying in the end? Viridi used the PoF on Pit, and Palutena probably exhausted her power charging the gun. 2) If Hades' body could grow new legs AND a new head, can't those original legs that are sitting in the Underworld make a new body for a sequel?
I had so much trouble beating Hades when I was playing this for the first time. I replayed all the stages multiple times on multiple difficulty levels. I just had the hardest time fighting Hades on any difficulty level. I spent hours trying and retrying. I decided to look up how to properly fight Hades and found you video. By watching you defeat Hades on maximum difficulty, I was inspired enough to try again. After a few attempts, I won. I finally beat the game, after months of playing on and off again, I finally did it. Thank you, so much. You made happy memories.
Speaking of Smash 4, I had to give up my career of that for this fucking game dive it's nearly 13,000 fucking blocks of space and the recent smash update is 1,008 and being short 900 I had to delete the smash update.

Particularly so because it was so clear through the whole thing that you were enjoying yourself, and as a result I think that makes it more enjoyable to watch. I hope they will do those Snake's Codec conversations in the next Smash Bros with Pit having conversations with Viridi and Hades. That would've been the best possible appearance for them in Smash Bros in my opinion.

Ahem, i am happy that Lyn is in smash. Personally, i don't see me being much special, besides my quick draw ability as maybe my side special. Now Lucina here, she is alot easier to use then marth, the main reason being that, her blade is far more balanced then that of Marth's, Plus she is a bit slower in executing her specials, her Up special also goes higher then marth's Her counter stance is diffrent, and from what i have observed is weaker then marth's, marth's being dependent on what move the Attacker uses to determine its strength.
Lyndis I believe you may be biased for Lucina. There are tons of unique elements that you could have had in Smash 4, there's a lot of potential from FE7, plus some elements from Awakening, considering you're a swordmaster in that. -Have two blades, the Mani Katti and the Sol Katti. (Maybe your down-b swaps blades?) -No counter, (we have enough swordsmen with counter) have that be a "disappear-and-back-attack" move. -Side-b would be similar to Fox/Falco. (With charge up?) -Standard B could be a bow attack, (you gain the ability to use bows upon promotion to Great Lord). -Some move swaps could be swapping the default side-b for Astra, swapping the default down-b for Vantage. You could easily be the fastest swordsman in the roster, in exchange for a lack of killing potential, having light weight, and a poor recovery. The sheer fact though, is that Lucina was literally added to pad the roster (along with a certain other 2 characters). The game was rushed, and they ran out of time, they couldn't add/balance any more characters, so they made Dr. Mario, Dark Pit, and Lucina all clones.
This game will always hold a special place in my heart, it’s just so good. Literally the best schmup I’ve ever played. Voice acting is godlike in quality.
Actually in Dark Pit's Palutena's Guidance in Smash 4 he said that he was partnering up with Viridi soooo.... Maybe Sakurai's hinting at another game which would literally make me cry tears of joy T_T
This let's play was my first experience with the Kid Icarus series. I hadn't heard of Pit until SSBB. I must say, Kid Icarus' balance of seriousness, humor, and the breaking of the fourth wall is great, and the characters are all so wonderful, especially Hades!
Who else thinks Hades is one of the best villains of all time? I mean he's funny, and intimidating, let's not forger the witty banter he trades off with pit.

Sakurai hates making sequels, which is part of why he stuck in Hades' line about the next sequel being in 25 years. I think he actually made the joke himself in interviews outside the game. Basically, if there's another Kid Icarus game, especially within the next decade or two, it's highly unlikely that Sakurai will be involved. Or, well, directing. He might be involved in some way. I'd love if he would make another Kid Icarus game, but if that's not something he wants to do, then he shouldn't be forced to do it for our sake. And if they make another sequel under someone else's direction... it better be somebody who knows what they're doing.
This game would be awesome to have a sequel, BUT i'd have no starting point and with everything wiped out, even hades wich is the reason why there is uprising, and it would do fine without a sequel (the only thing i'm missing is people to play with online)
I've got a great idea for a sequel to this game too. In the next game, Hades DOES return. How? He was revived by the Titans. Now, not only does Pit have to fight Hades again, but the Titans and their army as well. Also, Pit gets that robot machine-gun girlfriend he wanted...named Anna.
I recently been playing this game after a long hiatus. And I just decided to go to this and go for 9.0. It was by far. One of the hardest things I've ever done in a game ever. I legit was shaking so much when I made it to the portion with the final blow against Hades. I remembered this moment in this lp and really showed me why I'm such a fan. Because if you have your soul to someone and dedicate love and support to it. You can do almost anything! And that's what I did for Hades on 9.0. I thankfully got it on recording so I'll never forget it.
Actually, doesn't Viridi imply in Chapter 20 that Palutena is the one who had the power to turn Pit into a ring? Goddess magic, I guess. Still, it was the Chaos Kin who influenced her to do so.

TMNT CAPCOM NINTENDO Earthbound is a RPG SNES game. There is a feature where a camera guy (forgot his name) takes pictures of the main character and his friends during the game, and the thing he tells Ness to say is fuzzy pickles, and Ness does an almost identical pose to the one Pit did.

This IS one of your best LPs, EVER!! Particularly so because it was so clear through the whole thing that you were enjoying yourself, and as a result I think that makes it more enjoyable to watch. This playthrough encouraged me to go and buy this game, and HOLEY MOLEY I'm glad I did!! One of my favorite games of all time, and I'm still playing it nonstop (though it is making it a bit more difficult to study for exams)! XD LONG LIVE KID ICARUS UPRISING!

I hope they will do those Snake's Codec conversations in the next Smash Bros with Pit having conversations with Viridi and Hades. That would've been the best possible appearance for them in Smash Bros in my opinion.

Ahem, i am happy that Lyn is in smash. Personally, i don't see me being much special, besides my quick draw ability as maybe my side special.
Now Lucina here, she is alot easier to use then marth, the main reason being that, her blade is far more balanced then that of Marth's,
Plus she is a bit slower in executing her specials, her Up special also goes higher then marth's
Her counter stance is diffrent, and from what i have observed is weaker then marth's, marth's being dependent on what move the Attacker uses to determine its strength.

I believe you may be biased for Lucina. There are tons of unique elements that you could have had in Smash 4, there's a lot of potential from FE7, plus some elements from Awakening, considering you're a swordmaster in that.
-Have two blades, the Mani Katti and the Sol Katti. (Maybe your down-b swaps blades?)
-No counter, (we have enough swordsmen with counter) have that be a "disappear-and-back-attack" move.
-Side-b would be similar to Fox/Falco. (With charge up?)
-Standard B could be a bow attack, (you gain the ability to use bows upon promotion to Great Lord).
-Some move swaps could be swapping the default side-b for Astra, swapping the default down-b for Vantage.
You could easily be the fastest swordsman in the roster, in exchange for a lack of killing potential, having light weight, and a poor recovery.
The sheer fact though, is that Lucina was literally added to pad the roster (along with a certain other 2 characters). The game was rushed, and they ran out of time, they couldn't add/balance any more characters, so they made Dr. Mario, Dark Pit, and Lucina all clones.
I still dont see my self as a smash character though...

This let's play was my first experience with the Kid Icarus series. I hadn't heard of Pit until SSBB. I must say, Kid Icarus' balance of seriousness, humor, and the breaking of the fourth wall is great, and the characters are all so wonderful, especially Hades!

***** Actually, the only Kid Icarus game Sakurai has worked on is Uprising.
Sakurai hates making sequels, which is part of why he stuck in Hades' line about the next sequel being in 25 years. I think he actually made the joke himself in interviews outside the game.
Basically, if there's another Kid Icarus game, especially within the next decade or two, it's highly unlikely that Sakurai will be involved. Or, well, directing. He might be involved in some way. I'd love if he would make another Kid Icarus game, but if that's not something he wants to do, then he shouldn't be forced to do it for our sake. And if they make another sequel under someone else's direction... it better be somebody who knows what they're doing.
This game would be awesome to have a sequel, BUT i'd have no starting point and with everything wiped out, even hades wich is the reason why there is uprising, and it would do fine without a sequel (the only thing i'm missing is people to play with online)

I've got a great idea for a sequel to this game too. In the next game, Hades DOES return. How? He was revived by the Titans. Now, not only does Pit have to fight Hades again, but the Titans and their army as well. Also, Pit gets that robot machine-gun girlfriend he wanted...named Anna.
I recently been playing this game after a long hiatus. And I just decided to go to this and go for 9.0. It was by far. One of the hardest things I've ever done in a game ever. I legit was shaking so much when I made it to the portion with the final blow against Hades. I remembered this moment in this lp and really showed me why I'm such a fan. Because if you have your soul to someone and dedicate love and support to it. You can do almost anything! And that's what I did for Hades on 9.0. I thankfully got it on recording so I'll never forget it.
The pun Hades made at 7:13 probably gave the title of "Best Pun Maker."

Actually, doesn't Viridi imply in Chapter 20 that Palutena is the one who had the power to turn Pit into a ring? Goddess magic, I guess. Still, it was the Chaos Kin who influenced her to do so.

TMNT CAPCOM NINTENDO Earthbound is a RPG SNES game. There is a feature where a camera guy (forgot his name) takes pictures of the main character and his friends during the game, and the thing he tells Ness to say is fuzzy pickles, and Ness does an almost identical pose to the one Pit did.
