This is such an awesome episode in so many ways! 1. That breathtaking moments of Ashi Na Sun and Changge where he embraces her. The way he looks at her is truly to die for! 2. That gorgeous blue dress which looks stunning on Dilraba and highlights her beautiful eyes and the expressive emotions in them. 3. The epic duel scene. The action choreography is just awesome and Wu Lei did such an incredible job! 4. That throwing away of sword Sun and dashing towards Changge with Zhou Shen's beautiful "Cocoon" playing in the background.
I must be the only one thinking like how hot A’sun was when he was fighting with sher for change like literally his looks and desperation in his eyes. Gosh i need man like this in my life and i know it won’t be possible in this life🥺

Sun was the one who has saved an enemy of his people over and over and brought her to live secretly among them(for the sake of protecting her and keeping her alive). And now that same enemy has run away with an important prisoner. If the truth gets revealed, why would Sun _not_ get in trouble? Why would the Khan _not_ consider that a huge betrayal from him? You can try to make it sound like she was thinking about Sun, so as to not make her look so bad in her inconsiderations to him but, truth is, she was only thinking of herself and her own agendas. She was doing this at the sacrifice of someone else. She even admits all of this later on as she's doing her soul-searching. I'm glad _she_ sees her own errors and grows, even if some of you give her all kinds of excuses, and even if Sun loves her too much to actually blame her. I personally really admire her character for being sensible enough to acknowledge the need to change her ways. This was a huge step in the continual growth of her character. Yes, she _should_ want to help her people and her country but not at the expense of recklessly throwing away other people's lives. She needed to find another way, and she should have listened to Sun and not trusted Khatun in the first place. She made a huge blunder, wronged Sun, and she knows it. She also knows she owes him a lot, even if some of you insist she never asked him for help.
Ashile Sun knows Changge so well. As soon as she told Great Khan she wanted to stay, he already knew she was plotting something. Even though she humiliated him, hurt his pride, and didn't take him into consideration after he risked his life to save her from Sher, he was still willing to help her out by making an excuse to let her stay. His love is so selfless. He has always been like that for her. One could see his emotional struggles as he chugged that wine in the next episode 😢
I LOVE how quickly this story flows...only ep 15 & 16 lagged...but I LOVE whenever ChangGe's thinking wheels start turning!...the way she comes up with solutions to her problems!
In my opinion only episode 19 lagged. I find that when it focuses more on the secondary characters instead of the main leads, the story gets slow since leyan/HD don’t really contribute that much to the plot. Unfortunately, from 26-30 the main leads will be separated and the show will mainly focus on the development of leyan/haodu cp.....
After finishing the entire series, I realized the show has no drags if you skip the secondary characters scenes, I find most of them pretty unnecessary the plotline. Whenever I rewatch I just fast forward their parts

Changge is ridiculous She doesnt at all appreciate that Asun almost died bec of her NOt a word of thanks and just more abuse and rushing into the Camp of Great Khan - Had he taken off her veil she and Asun would have immediately been dead meat. FOrget about her being able to save the General. All along she was not achieving anytning if it were not for Asun.
It hurts so much when he tries so hard to win Sher and take her back but she doesn't want to go. I don't know when she understands how much he loves her
Yeah but what hurts me even more, is the fact that she puts others' happiness before her own. She'll sacrifice herself for others and that's exactly what she is doing now. She doesn't want to leave because she wants to rescue the general and also help the princess in any way she can. All throughout the series, she'd been thinking about her people and he's been thinking about her. No one is right or wrong. They are doing things they believe it's right.
I think she kind of knows? It's not that she doesn't want to go, she feels that she *has* to stay. Tbh Sun is just like her, they put their people and their nation above everything else. Just like he kept refusing to go against his dad's wishes, she feels like she needs to do all she can to help Tang. They're just too patriotic haha They'll let themselves be happy when they finally are satisfied with all they've done for others!

Sure, we see him doing a lot more for her than she does for him (whole damsel in distress is going strong here 😏), but there are several instances he put his people first (like in Shuozhou and with the battle with Li Shimin). He always tries to help her through the consequences, but he does it anyway. I disagree that he cares more about her than his people. At least, for now. They're exactly the same!
This is one of the best episodes yet! We see a real fight, and it's so well done. I have no words - amazing!! I hope A'Sun understands later on why she stayed. He does get the real plan, but we'll see...

I lost count how many times I’ve replayed the hug scene. Their chemistry is superb.
Wu Lei seems to have a lot of strength in his legs. His kicks in all his fight scenes look so real

Changge is ridiculous She doesnt at all appreciate that Asun almost died bec of her NOt a word of thanks and just more abuse and rushing into the Camp of Great Khan - Had he taken off her veil she and Asun would have immediately been dead meat. FOrget about her being able to save the General. All along she was not achieving anytning if it were not for Asun.

Yeah but what hurts me even more, is the fact that she puts others' happiness before her own. She'll sacrifice herself for others and that's exactly what she is doing now. She doesn't want to leave because she wants to rescue the general and also help the princess in any way she can. All throughout the series, she'd been thinking about her people and he's been thinking about her. No one is right or wrong. They are doing things they believe it's right.
She definitely know his love to her, but her conscience can’t just allow her giving up the general.
I guess trusting someone at this point means more than Love and she trusts Ashile Sun.
I think she kind of knows? It's not that she doesn't want to go, she feels that she *has* to stay. Tbh Sun is just like her, they put their people and their nation above everything else. Just like he kept refusing to go against his dad's wishes, she feels like she needs to do all she can to help Tang. They're just too patriotic haha They'll let themselves be happy when they finally are satisfied with all they've done for others!
@@breezebit He's been thinking about his people too! Sure, we see him doing a lot more for her than she does for him (whole damsel in distress is going strong here 😏), but there are several instances he put his people first (like in Shuozhou and with the battle with Li Shimin). He always tries to help her through the consequences, but he does it anyway. I disagree that he cares more about her than his people. At least, for now. They're exactly the same!
