Swiss German Lessons
Here is a short lesson about making an appointment with a friend in Swiss German. Making appointment is Switzerland is an art. I guess Swiss people are not very spontaneous. Everything must be arranged in advance.
Imagine you want to go cycling with your Friend from Lausanne to Fribourg. You have to arrange it much earlier. Check your diary first, discuss it with your wife. Think about the weather, taking into account different transport options. That's life in Switzerland.
The same rule goes for language learning. If you want to speak Swiss German, you need to plan it. Whatever happens, you have to learn, study vocabulary every day. It has to be systematic. There will be days when you will feel totally exhausted, and there will be days you will not feel like going to your language school. Probably you will have some doubts about the grammar, but whatever happens, you have to be systematic.
Attending Swiss German course on a regular basis the key to your success. Once you follow that rule, the language will be there. It will be installed. You only have to polish it. Take care of it, water it every day.
