Eric, this REALLY should be shared again on your channel. It is truly inspiring and I love how you point out at the start that we do not have to live in a box or follow society's rules how we "should" be living our lives. More people need to be reminded of this. Thank you for continuing to inspire me and my little o'hana! Safe travels and be blessed! ~Vanessa

Sitting in my 3rd camper over the course of my life and my first brand new one. I purchased a gulfstream vista cruiser single axel even tho
I have an old diesel f350. I didn’t want anything huge this camper is perfect for me. I moved out of my old camper for about 10 months now into a really nice apartment but everyday I was there I hated it more and more! I’m going back to full time only this time I’m no longer stationary for the first time. I just want to say I watched this video 7 years or more ago and I tell you it’s exactly how I feel to this day and I come back to watch it time and time again. I haven’t been as happy again as I am now living this lifestyle!

Eric, you have subconsciously understood the concept of conformity and that its not you but the society that is going in the wrong direction! Glad to see other folks living their own dream, and not someone else's.
Best of luck to You & Jax.

BudNixon soooooo true. Sometimes society leaves us NO options other than to live in the car I own outright... I’m houseless, but I thank God above that I have the old SUV... she’s been serving me well and keeping me off the streets of San Fran as many others have had to resort to as Societal conformity pushes them out of affordable living in traditional stick and bricks. God bless your dreams, live it! And happy trails always❤️

WoW! This is so inspirational! Your cinematography, editing and storytelling is just amazing! I know you gave yourself a grade of “pass” on this but that crazy college you graduated from of “self assessment” really had a gem of a student in you! Love everything that you do!

I am film student in my final year of college. When I get done with college I want to either buy a travel trailer or Class C motor-home even before I saw your channel. I just want to thank you for doing what you do. I've been searching for so long on advice and tips on how to live similar to how your living and this has inspired my dream of becoming nomadic, traveling the country, and fulfilling my dream of being a filmmaker! Your documentary was amazing! I hope you get to make it a feature length. If you wanted to try and submit it to film festivals just know that there are some that accept short film documentaries like yours! You may just have to look around the country more, but being mobile that wouldn't be a problem for you... Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you and please continue posting and filming!

Eric, we spoke on Facebook chat, and you gave me great advice about camper van choices, and answered all the other questions I had, after watching this video, and getting help I am now closer to a more open lifestyle of traveling and experiences, thank you for your help, for taking time out to listen, and opening my eyes to a different type of life.

Thanks for sharing all this information. I just moved into a 30 foot travel trailer and my cost of rent for the lot is $1,000/year and once I pay off the trailer I will only pay electric and water refillage and sewer dump fees. My expenses went from about $1300/mo to $250/mo for housing AND I'm directly on the river. So far, the best decision I have ever made.

Such a great job Eric. You are talking about lengthening the film, I just want to say all the videos you have made with so many tips and life lessons might be worth going through again. I think one reason people like your youtube channel so much is the way you make your life so out there so we get to know you, or at least feel like we know you. You know how in film people love the person at the end. More personal time with Eric, that's what people will love... Once again, GREAT JOB.

Eric. Your lifestyle is one I will always want to live the job i want to pursue is in the military and the closest active RCAF base that trains helicopter pilots is 13hours away. Due to that i would want to fulltime rv to be close to the base.... but I would not want to live like that forever. My idea of freedom here in eastern canada is owning a 100 acre property riverfront all trees except for the house and almost 1 hour away from the city. When you can walk on your deck and can only hear your sons dirtbike in the distance, the sound of your burger on the bbq, birds singing and all you can see is the river, and trees. Your inspiring Eric and I wish you all luck!

I'm formulating a plan to do this with my two dogs. I've been nomadic since birth, but I've been stuck in one place for nearly 20 years now, and nothing is changing. I don't foresee anything changing if I stay here, and it's not just me.
One of those two dogs I mentioned is a bit of a problem and staying here will only ensure that the problem persists. Going on the road with him and giving him the social exposure he needs and deserves will ensure that his quality of life improves. Daily enrichment- a tired dog is a good dog and a dog whom can better focus on learning important things- like don't attack the neighbors' dogs, doghole!
Sorry I guess I'm thinking aloud at your comment section. I'm working an outline of what to say during my "WTF AM I DOING" video I'm sure I have to make.
