Lift one leg of the capacitor and solder a wire to it, solder the other end of THAT wire to a post on the switch. Connect another wire between the OTHER post on the switch, and the hole that the capacitor leg came out of. The switch either opens or closes the circuit, connects or disconnects it. :-)

My actually toggle switch (the pole that sticks out) is actually longer than the stock ones on the amp :-( but of a bummer, just wish they matched. Maybe you can find a shorty. The wire is just any 18-22 gauge wire. Thrift Store!! Buy some a junk wall-wart or something, old speaker wire, anything will work.
@@PainterDans - if I were to do it again I’d 3 position switch and have a cap that’s half way between what’s there and completely off just cause it’s a pretty drastic change. But ya… good mod.
I did it. Excelent mod. Thanks!
Great video and explanation! You connect both ends of the wire to the pins of ONE side of the switch, right?

Nice job, what type of switch and wire is that ? Or a link maybe. Thanks

@@oldguyjammin9732 thanks alot , good mod for that amp

@oldguyjammin9732 thats not a bad idea, would a tone or volume knob work ?
@@PainterDans - no, it would need to be a 3 position rotary switch.
So red wire to end of C137 cap. Which leg does that red wire attach to the mini toggle though ?
since it’s either ON or OFF it won’t matter which pin on the toggle switch you connect to, either pin will work.
