Wineglass is rough on my brain.
Skye mind set is so stuck on receiving govt assistance and i say that bcuz despite her good speeches of wanting more her actions never aligned with it . She said shes had her home health care job since 2011 or so she had two clients then one client yet still struggling but not one time has skye attempted to find another job that she could be a salaried employee earn more money instead she did gig jobs . She wanted more money but she didnt want to put herself out of the income bracket to continue to receive all govt assistance the fact that she was receiving food stamps im sure she couldve easily asked them about learning a trade or getting certifications and they wouldve directed her in that path . They have resources that the public isnt aware of i think skye has lived in poverty so long that shes become numb to the thought of theres a way out but it actually requires action on her part . We see her doing gig work even donating plasma but never trying to get a new job smh

I do agree most black people were never taught to prevail and experience true financial success. In America, there was a study, I’m sure you can find it somewhere but it basically native Americans and African Americans (maybe Hispanic but it was definitely close) struggle financially the most.
And white and Asian people make more money. At the time of the study it was a pretty decent gap between white and asian people, vs Native American, black and Hispanic.
So yes, I do agree with what wine glass says.

@@domzmomma8943 that’s good. But the same can’t be said for everyone else. When you see great grandma and great grandpa fighting to get money to pay the bills, then grandma and grandpa, then mom and dad, some people can break out of that situation, better yet, never even go through that. But often times it’s just a lot of people going through the same financial struggles their parents went through.
Especially (but not exclusively) in some minority races.
