I fenced jewelry and ran numbers out of Ozone park back in the 90s during the crackdown and Gotti being shipped to be a guest of the goverment for life. I remember having to tune up Paulie "Nasty Stank Breath" DiMiglio and some irish tough guy, for cross dressing and cutting the tags off of matresses that you shouldnt remove. I wouldn't do it again, but I don't regret a thing. I now live with two italian plumbers named Luigi and Mario and we throw fireballs at flowers and turtles.
You don't think of this show as being so old, but then you hear a character in Toronto say that he pays $586 a month in rent and you're like, "Is this the fucking SIXTIES?!"
The genius at the heart of this sketch is how they used camera shakes and sound effects so we could actually get a sense of the pains in his head. Without them I just don't think it'd be as absurd.
I'm the guy in the middle. Nobody can ever do anything right. If they do it's a rarity. Also, everyone seems to think I should remember and care about them based on nothing but brief interactions here and there. Great psychological profiling.

Been a fan of them since around 1984 when they were a performing troupe and not on television yet. Hard to believe it's been off the air for 25 years.
