I'm guessing partly due to vision issues, partly due to they grew up where everyone was raised wearing the same clothes. Very first few years most clothing was neutral.

I felt that I was the same and when my mum got pregnant in the ultra sound the doctor said it was 100% a girl the whole pregnancy and I was so excited for 9 months.... but it turned up to be a brother so OF COURSE I dressed him up and stuff fun times
