I have been critical in the past due to your actions during COVID, such as the baptism *in a very large gathering*, poking fun at protestors with your post on thanksgiving w/o masks and in a group, and having Anastasia's mom on your podcast who said that transgender people are tricked by the devil. I wish you would formally address these things. It made me feel, as a former fan and longtime viewer, that you didn't really care about your audience. I am glad the comment section is open, though, and I hope there will not be deleting of open discussions.
I must say that you seem very happy, and I am happy about that. I honestly think that part of my feelings were because of my own falling out of religion. But that is besides the point...just please be careful, as other commenters have said.
I understand where you're coming from Elizabeth. For any and all behavior that was not in the likeness of my savior I truly apologize. I fall short everyday and that is why I am in desperate need of him. Jesus changed my life not a religion or a specific group of people. Many leave the faith because they have had horrible experiences and all they see is judgment/hurt/pain but I believe Jesus wants to encounter you through this - God is not mad at you. He actually loves you SO MUCH it's insane and has never loved you more than in this moment! He is also not afraid of your questions - ask him how he sees you 🥰
There is nothing you can do to get right with God.. Joy comes from the free gift of salvation and unlimited grace! Come to him like a child!
All you have to do is receive & believe then let his peace wash over you!
He has never left you and will never leave. His love is better than anything and anyone!

I think she should address the qualms people have with her but I didn't want to be aggressive in any way as to have my comment deleted. I admit I was really happy to have a more positive response from her so I didn't push anything afterwards. :/
@@Elizabeth-yx5on yeah I get that. The bar just seems really low. She always avoids those type of questions (or deletes them) and tbh that says a lot. I think we know how she’s feeling towards lgbtq, blm, masks/science etc, she’s just not addressing it for strategic reasons. At least that’s what I believe.

I've seen a lot of native Hawaiians saying that we shouldn't go on trips there because tourism is destroying their islands
I get what your saying but Hawaii lives off of tourism, it’s not like they have any other big job fields like cars, science, technology.. most people work in something related to tourists so it is very important. But I do believe tourists should not be so careless and be more respectful to the land and the people.

I love you, but please don't go to Hawaii (obviously it's too late, so this is to everyone watching). It's a really bad time to travel to HI right now. The islands are being placed on water restrictions due to a huge influx in tourism, C-19 restrictions have gone up due to tourism. Native Hawaiians are being displaced/losing their homes due to inflation from tourism, as well as non-natives moving to HI driving up costs
I aspire to someday make it to Hawaii. So glad it was all for the Lord 🌸

@@jessemac18 maybe it was the way she worded it, but whenever someone religious mentions "being send on missions", all my alarm bells go off. I've read up on them and not everything I've read about them was positive.
It’s definitely controversial. I just did some research and hell no. I do believe that Meredith had a good experience since it was a camp for creators. Those organizations treat influencers differently than its „normal“ members. Just like those celebrities get special treatment within Scientology.

OOf. YWAM is pretty problematic. I have many friends who did it (Kona, Norway, Colorado Springs), and they all had a ton of negative experiences, unfortunately.

From what I’ve been told, there is a passage about marking your body. This is referring to people mutilating their body for their sins and to appease their gods. That was under the Old Testament, which had the rules for the Israelites. The New Testament does not mention tattoos

I have a feeling we all should rethink tattoos as something God doesn’t want us to do…
hey! when it comes to using Leviticus 19:28 in regards to tattoos, we need to understand the context of it. in the time that this law was given and written, the groups around the nation of Israel were fillings themselves with cuts and marks to pagan and dead gods, so in order to distinguish them (Israel) from the other groups, this law was given.
also, in the end of the verse, notice how it says: "I am the LORD." that is crucial to this specific verse. us as Christians are meant to do all things to glorify God (1 corinthians 10:31). and when it comes to tattoos with a Biblical meaning, whether it be a verse, or a passage, or a cross, or anything in between, it is showing to us the glory of the Lord which we remind ourselves of, and it allows us to glorify the Lord.
+ tattoos can be great conversation starters. i have a lot of my friends bring people to Jesus because their tattoos had a biblical meaning.
it honestly comes down to people's conviction. if you have that conviction that's great, but don't press on your conviction on to others as their relationship with the Lord can be and is much different than yours.
