As a creative person (traditional artist) I feel we all suffer from perfectionism. One of the best (and most obvious) things I've learned is that the more you practice something, the better you get at it. So its better to produce more with an acceptable quality, than agonize over one single production. We can agree to disagree that other's reactions is a measure of quality of one's work... there are things that are popular, but with sh*t quality (most fast food franchises 😂) but I do realise your challenges as a UA-camr are different from mine as an artist. You’re the one that got me into rust. Your content is to this day my favourite. Yes it is not as consistent as others, but the quality is high tier. A second channel is a great idea. One for more laid back content and one for your more thought out ideas. Maybe you should expand your team? Take the workload and pressure off yourself? Whatever you decide to do, good luck!

JordanRants, I love your videos for your personality and the way you play rust. Many UA-camrs just slaughter everyone but you make Rust more friendly. You still do PvP but are more humble about it. I really do prefer your videos and I think posting more and not overediting is the way to go. I actually like seeing some more of the grind content and like seeing how you get from A to C. Don't skip all the B parts in-between. Farming montages are good. Also consider doing some more Duos.

I like the format, hearing your thoughts and you talking to your watchers. It's more inclusive and shows you care about us. In my mind, that's all that matters as a watcher. What you do doesn't matter as much as I know from 4 years of watching you, whatever you make will always be worth watching. If it's a challenge vid, a duo or collab, bringing in bliz for a raid or just a generic rock to ak progression... it will be awesome.
Really enjoying this direction, more raw footage. I'm sure there are other people who would agree that you could have the super edited video or just joining you along the adventure with a more simple/chill video and I'd watch either haha. More videos would be awesome if it's feasible again. But either way I enjoyed this, thanks Jordan! :)

Totally feel for you. I’m a network engineer who is a perfectionist. Networks are never perfect, and I’ve had the hardest journey getting to where I am. The worst part of a perfectionist is the procrastination.. not out of laziness, but the inability to piece together all the details that you feel you need to even start. You said it right, acceptance of “this is good enough” is the only way. I’ve been ongoing that battle for a year now. It’s difficult to even catch. I’ve got 5k solo hours on rust, I just can’t do teams unless I am the only builder and place every single deployable. Keep up the drive brother.
I love your videos honestly. I watch them at the end of night usually when everything is calm and everyone sleep. I love the positive vibes and they're long so I can watch them in episodes :D And as a fellow content creator (although way smaller) I understand the views could be a pressure. Btw -you dont need power for the buttons -they generate 1 power the moment you press them (as do the pressure plate) Btw2 -you only need one lamp in between the 2 plantboxes (or 1 for 4) same goes for the water.
